Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt turned showstoppers for ace designer, Manish Malhotra’s bridal couture recently and the event was attended by many B-town celebs. Ranveer’s wife and the diva of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone too graced the event and was spotted sitting with her mother-in-law, Anju Bhavnani.
While Ranveer arrived on the ramp, the handsome actor walked confidently, and as he spotted his wife, Deepika, the Gunday actor stopped and walked towards her. Ranveer leaned towards Deepika and kissed her on her cheek, and then he went to touch his mother, Anju’s feet and greeted Karan Johar too. As he walked forward and posed, we noticed Deepika indulging in a chit-chat session with her saasu maa, which was too cute to be missed.

For the event, Ranveer looked dapper in a white flared kurta and pyjama and teamed it with a glittering jacket. On the other hand, Alia donned a fully sequined silver-coloured lehenga along with matching jewellery. She teamed the lehenga with a net dupatta, tucked on her head.
Talking about Deepika Padukone’s look, the gorgeous actress opted for a white-coloured net saree with frill work on it. She teamed her saree with a backless halter neck blouse, which had intricate mirror work on it. With her hair tied back in a jooda, Deepika opted for a pair of statement earrings with emerald drops. She opted for glam makeup, which included red lipstick, well-defined eyes and nude eye shadow.

Deepika Padukone shares a very warm bond with her in-laws, and we have often seen her heaping praises on them. In a throwback interview with a leading portal, the stunning actress talked about her equation with them and said:
“It’s interesting. For his father I’m like a daughter. But for his mom, I’m like a friend, a beti also. I can tell her my deepest darkest secrets. It’s stupid to explain because I can’t even put it into words. There’s nothing that I have to keep from them. They are like my parents now, they are my family. Uncle is emotional, he breaks down easily. Mum’s an absolute chiller. Like she will party with the youngsters till eight in the morning."
