It was the happiest day in Sunny Deol’s life as his elder son, Karan Deol got hitched to the love of his life, Drisha Acharya on June 18, 2023. The Deol family hosted a grand reception at Taj Lands End later in the evening, which was attended by many A-listed stars. Bollywood’s star couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone too marked their presence along with Ranveer’s parents.
Ranveer looked handsome in a white Sherwani and pants. He teamed his attire with a matching stole and sunglasses. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone looked stunning in a black anarkali along with open tresses and glam makeup. The couple was seen enjoying themselves and even dancing at the reception, and Deepika was seen doing her trademark step with her hands lifted in the air.

As soon as Deepika and Ranveer’s dance video went viral, many social media users commented on Deepika’s forever step and stated that she puts in a lot of effort. Some even commented on the couple’s lack of enthusiasm. One of the users commented, “Haha deepika is not at all a graceful dancer. She puts in a lot of effort (which i admire) for her movie dances..to be a decent dancer but she's definitely not graceful.”

It was on June 18, 2023, when Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya began their forever journey. The couple looked stunning in their wedding ensemble as Drisha wore a gorgeous red Sabyasachi lehenga, which featured a heavily embroidered panelled skirt. She teamed it with a plunging neck blouse and double dupattas, one pinned on her head, while another one carefully tucked on one of her shoulders. She completed her subtle look with a choker neckpiece, jhumkas and a maang teeka. On the other hand, Karan looked handsome in a white bandhgala suit paired with a matching turban.

For the wedding reception, Karan opted for a black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt underneath and a bow. Whereas, Drisha stunned in a beige-hued embellished lehenga paired with a corset top and a matching sheer dupatta. She amped her look with minimal makeup, an open wavy hairdo and diamond jewellery, including statement earrings and bangles.
