Bollywood's power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been giving us #CoupleGoals ever since they had tied the knot in an intimate affair last year. They have been making headlines with their social media PDA and their way of showering love on each other in award shows prove that they were always meant to be. However, before their grand wedding, they were coy about accepting their love, but now, they don't shy away from talking about their love. When Deepika and Ranveer had walked onto the big screen for the first time with film, Goliyon ki Rasleela… Ramleela (2013), we knew they were meant to be. And all our speculations and hopes were turned into reality when the couple had exchanged wedding vows on November 14, 2018. There have been many interviews, wherein Deepika had revealed that past one year with Ranveer has been a lot of 'fun'. Currently, Deepika and Ranveer have jetted out of the city to celebrate their first wedding anniversary in Tirupati with their family to seek God's blessings.
The couple has been extremely busy in the past year and in a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Deepika talked about the same. She shared that they have been extremely busy because of professional commitments. But despite that, they make sure to take time out for each other. Deepika also revealed that working with Ranveer post-marriage hasn't been any different. She shared that they love their work so much that they don't really think about their personal relationship once the camera gets on. Coming back to their love story, Deepika was at her career's highest point when she had met Ranveer. And while many men couldn't digest her success, Ranveer was comfortable with it all. In an interview with the Open Magazine, Deepika had shared, “When we started dating six years ago, I was more successful than him, busier than him, making more money. I’ve never come across a man who is so comfortable with my success and the attention I was getting. He was supportive and encouraging of my career and it wasn’t superficial support. That doesn’t happen with many men. He really cared, and I don’t think our relationship would have lasted if not for how he inherently felt about my world and how much he respected it. I did not have to make compromises to keep my man happy and that was the best thing about him.”
Earlier, in a post-marriage interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika had opened about her relationship with Ranveer, and had shared, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment.”
She had further added, “Although my friends feel.. soon after we started dating, I remember he had dengue and he was unwell and I was shooting for Finding Fanny at that time. I would keep travelling back and forth. His family and my friends sort of felt at that point, this was headed towards being together for life. But, I don't think I have that one definite moment.
