Deepika and Ranveer's epic love story is a perfect case of what we call opposite attracts! For those who don't know, it all started when Ranveer first saw Deepika at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau and he had felt the sparks in her eyes and butterflies in his heart. The actor had gone on record and had stated how he almost went flat at seeing her. We still remember how after marriage Ranveer had stated in a media interaction that he wants to become the husband of the century. And judging by his every gesture, we are damn sure that he is the husband of the century.
The duo had tied the knot on November 14-15, 2018 in an intimate ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, and within a few days from now, Deepika and Ranveer are all set to celebrate their 1st anniversary. According to a report in the Hindustan Times, Deepika and Ranveer are going to celebrate their anniversary with their loved one's by seeking God's blessings. They will be leaving town tomorrow and would be heading first to Tirupati and then to Amritsar with their entire family. A source close to the couple had informed the news website that they will be at Tirupati on November 14 and will be visiting the Balaji and the Padmavathi temple and then they will fly to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple on the November 15. The entire family will fly back to Mumbai on the 15th. Well, we hope Deepika and Ranveer share cute pictures from their first-anniversary celebration.
Coming back to their happy married life, in an interview with Open Magazine, Deepika had talked about the thing that drew her towards Ranveer. She had revealed, “When we started dating six years ago, I was more successful than him, busier than him, making more money. I’ve never come across a man who is so comfortable with my success and the attention I was getting. He was supportive and encouraging of my career and it wasn’t superficial support. That doesn’t happen with many men. He really cared, and I don’t think our relationship would have lasted if not for how he inherently felt about my world and how much he respected it. I did not have to make compromises to keep my man happy and that was the best thing about him.”
Earlier, in a post-marriage interview with Pinkvilla, Deepika had opened about her relationship with Ranveer, and had shared, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment.”
In another interview with GQ magazine, Deepika had talked about her equation with Ranveer Singh and had said, “With Ranveer and me, our relationship rests on the fact that we’re extremely liberal with each other, extremely supportive of each other’s professional careers and know each other’s personal needs. I think when we started dating six years ago, professionally, we were both in very different places.
