Famous film director, Shankar's daughter, Aishwarya Shankar, got married to Tarun Karthikeyan in a grand ceremony. The wedding was attended by famous South Indian celebrities including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Nayanthara and many more. Pictures and videos of her grand celebration are doing rounds on the internet. The couple had an intimate engagement bash at their home in February 2024.
On April 15, 2024, Aishwarya married Tarun in Chennai. For the ceremony, she wore a pretty multicoloured saree in pink and purple with heavy work. She paired it with a matching blouse with tassels on the sleeves. On the other hand, her groom was decked up in a golden-toned kurta with dhoti. The couple looked super happy as they took the pheras and became each other's forever partners.

Nayan and her husband, Vignesh Shivan graced the wedding ceremony and looked adorable. We also spotted Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan Chiyaan Vikram, Suriya and Karthi giving their blessings to the newly-married couple.
On February 18, 2024, Aditi Shankar took to her Instagram handle and posted glimpses of her sister's engagement ceremony. For the event, the bride-to-be was decked up in a gorgeous dual-toned half-saree. Her look was on point with gold choker, matching jhumkis and a mathapatti. Her makeup was kept subtle with highlighted cheeks, hair tied in a braid and adorned with gajra. We also stumbled upon a picture of Aishwarya with her fiance, Tarun. They looked adorable together.
For those who don't know, Aishwarya Shankar tied the knot with Rohit Damodharan on June 27, 2021. The wedding was attended by the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin and his son and actor, Udhayanidhi Stalin. However, within a year of marriage, a 16-year-old girl filed a sexual harassment case against his cricket coach and Rohit was also rumoured to be involved in it. The director, who was planning a grand reception in 2022, suddenly called it off. Not much is known about Aishwarya's divorce with Rohit.
