Accept it guys, the moment we get to know that a celebrity wedding is around the corner, we get super excited. From guessing whether a bride will opt for a traditional red lehenga or will pick a pastel one to anticipating the location of their wedding, we eagerly wait to get hold of celebrity wedding pictures. There are times when we follow the news just to check whether the pictures of celebrity weddings are out or not. Over the years, Indian weddings have changed drastically as it is no longer an event, which is planned by the parents, but rather the bride and groom have an equal say and in fact, they are the ones finalising every teeny-tiny details. But if you take a look at all the celebrity wedding pictures, somehow, they all look the same!
After witnessing some high-profile celebrity weddings over the past few years and scrolling and re-scrolling through the digital wedding albums, we realised that they look just the same. From Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's dreamy wedding in Tuscany, Italy to Neha Kakkar's and Rohanpreet Singh's Gurudwara wedding in New Delhi, almost all the celebrity wedding pictures look a replica of each other.
We still remember the date — December 11, 2017, when around nine in the evening, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had shared their first wedding pictures. The candid pictures had beautifully shown Anushka and Virat's love for each other. The gorgeousness was dressed in a pastel lehenga and her hubby, Virat had perfectly complemented her. The soft tone of the pictures are still etched in our minds and had created an impression of its own.
Recently, we had come across Indian cricketer, Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganeshan's wedding pictures and the way they had announced their 'hush-hush' wedding, it reminded us of Anushka and Virat's beautiful union. Just like Anushka and Virat, Jasprit and Sanjana had also chosen pastel-toned ensembles and the soft pink tone of their pictures instantly refreshed our memories of Virushka's shaadi.
No matter whether you are a Bollywood buff or not, but you cannot ignore the fact that almost every celebrity wedding has a classic mandap shot, wherein the dulha and the dulhan are seen laughing their hearts out. Bollywood's power couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had a beautiful photo from their mandap, wherein the celeb couple had laughed their heart out.
When we had gotten hold of Dia Mirza's wedding pictures, we had found a similar mandap pose with again the same undertones. In fact, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal also had a similar mandap pose and no, we are not lying. And it has left us shocked that celebrities are posing only in the same shot. Come on, guys? Alright, we agree that every Indian wedding is all about naach-gaana, khaana and the rituals, which are almost the same. But after a detailed analysis, we have found that every celebrity wedding album has a saat pheras shot, which is taken from the same angle, keeping the same poses in mind. Don't believe us, then take a look at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' picture, wherein they were seen taking the pheras while holding each other's hands.
The same pose was seen in Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi's wedding. We had also noticed the same trend in Varun Dhawan's wedding with his childhood sweetheart, Natasha Dalal.
Another common pose, which we had noticed in almost all the celebrity weddings, is the bride's entry under the phoolon ki chadar. We had noticed Sonam Kapoor's bridal entry at her venue, donning a traditional red lehenga with golden embroidery all over and her phoolon ki chadar was of the red cloth. And we had spotted the same bridal entry at Deepika Padukone's wedding.
The last shot, which we have found in almost every wedding is the varmala shot. Almost every celebrity wedding has a varmala shot, and if you look closely, you will feel that it has been shot by the same photographers. It has the same angle, the same poses and kind of same expressions. Check it out:
