For the uninitiated, Simran Kaur Mundi was crowned Miss India Universe back in 2008 and since then she has been a part of a lot of movies. Simran’s most notable work is with the famous comedian, Kapil Sharma in the film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. On the other hand, Simran’s fiancee, Gurickk Maan is a director and producer. However, his most notable work till date is his direction in the Punjabi song sung by his own father, Gurdas Maan titled, Punjab. Gurickk had received a lot of applause for his incredible direction in this small video song. One of the sources close to Simran and Gurickk had informed The Times of India about the preparations of the wedding day and had said, “It will be a close-knit affair with just Simran and Gurickk’s families and close friends in attendance. They don’t want a grand wedding. They have been tight-lipped about their big day, as they don’t want any undue attention. They are currently busy with last-minute preparations for their big day. A reception will be hosted in Mumbai later, but the date is yet to be finalised.” The same source went on to disclose the love story of Simran and Gurickk and had revealed, “There is quite a cute love story. They first met at a race in which Gurickk was one of the participants. However, he crashed in the first lap. He then went up to Simran and told her that he couldn’t concentrate on the race because of her, and asked her out. Simran found it cheesy but gave in to his boyish charm and the rest is history.
