If reports are to be believed, Brooklyn Beckham charged more than USD 1 million for the DoorDash commercial. A source close to him confirmed the same to Page Six, a while ago. For the unversed, in the advertisement, Brooklyn can be seen handing over the FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets to a delivery boy. While he did not take his family’s name, netizens assumed it was a dig at his parents because David is a former football player. Talking about the ad, a source shared:
"It’s a little cheesy. Anything that makes him money is good — it shows that his brand is there and flourishing."

A few days ago, Brooklyn Beckham appeared in a DoorDash commercial. While it seemed good in the beginning, towards the end, viewers felt that the model took a direct dig at his parents, David and Victoria, amid their rift. However, this did not sit with the audience. Soon after the advertisement went viral, netizens slammed him for making money by using his parents’ name.
One user commented, "P.s.. for someone who claims his parents are ruling his life, you are definitely cashing in on your father's hard work repeatedly." Another user wrote, "People knew you cos ‘beckham’ back your name.. Give thanks to your parents. Without them, You are nothing." A third user shared, "Perhaps you'd be the delivery boy if you weren't Lucky to Be Beckham, wouldn't have your wife if you weren't a Beckham. Who are you?"

Later, a source close to Victoria and David Beckham revealed that they are heartbroken by Brooklyn’s advertisement. As per the source, they did not expect their eldest son to take a dig at them in an advertisement. They are disappointed in Brooklyn for talking about private matters on national television. The source shared, "For David and Victoria, it’s another example of private family matters becoming public, and that’s what’s upsetting."
