21 Yr Old Brazilian Bungee Jumper Death, Instructor Had Joked About Throwing Bodies Off Bridge

A 21 year old woman named, Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas met her death when she tried bungee jumping on the Skeleton Bridge. It is also known as Ponte do Esqueleto at the Sao Paulo state in Brazil. Now, three instructors named- Luis Felipe Feliciano Egoroff, 32, Vitor de Freitas Goncalves, 27, and Maicon Fernandes Cintra, 42 have been arrested and are reportedly facing homicide charges. Earlier, one of the instructors had posted a sick stunt and joked about throwing bodies off the same bridge.

A 21-year-old woman named, Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas met her end in the most horrific way. Reportedly, the staff threw her off the bridge without attaching any safety rope. Now, amid this, one of the Brazilian bungee jumping instructors reportedly had shot a sick video while joking about throwing bodies off the bridge. Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas was thrown to her death without a safety rope on the same Skeleton Bridge.

One of the instructors named, Luis Felipe Feliciano Egoroff aged 32 had made a video on his social media. It reportedly showed him and the other instructors throwing a black bag. They made it look like a dead body that they were throwing off the Skeleton Bridge. The clip was titled as, "Hiding the body" and reportedly in September 2022 it was posted. The clip was posted four years before the death of 21-year-old Brazilian fitness enthusiast Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freita.

A criminal investigation into the three instructors reportedly responsible for the death of Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas is being conducted. A user reading about the instructor joking about throwing a dead body off the bridge wrote, "Instructor was out here practising his 'body disposal' material. Bungee jumping just got added to the 'activities I’ll never do' list. How much of the responsibility is on the woman? She should have known she wasn't tethered. Notice they remembered the bungee cord, though."

Another user wrote, "I hope they were immediately drug tested. It was Brazil. It's basically a third-world country. This was a feature, not a bug. I notice they remembered the bungee cord, though. What’s the etiquette here? How long does the next person in line have to wait before asking for a refund? How do you joke about throwing bodies off a bridge when people are literally trusting you with their lives? That's not just dark humour, it's a massive red flag. Absolute sociopathic behaviour."

Well, it is not at all clear if Vitor de Freitas Goncalves, 27, and Maicon Fernandes Cintra, 42, were featured in the dark joke clip and if they are also the fellow suspects. However, all the three instructors are facing homicide charges. The trio reportedly have been transferred from a regional prison to a detention centre back in Sao Paulo, at the request of their lawyer. The attorney of the trio, named Rafael Gomes dos Santos, had revealed that the instructors were shifted to preserve the physical integrity of the accused. The three accused reportedly claimed to have blacked out and revealed that they did not remember who was to be in charge of attaching the rope to Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas. It was on June 13, 2026, when she met her end during her participation in the illegal, unlicensed bungee jumping act.
