The entire basketball world is currently heartbroken after the tragic demise of star player, Brandon Clarke. For the unversed, Memphis Grizzlies forward’s passing was confirmed by his agency, Priority Sports on May 12, 2026. The NBA player was only 29 years old. Amid that, an old photo of Brandon Clarke with his elder sister from her wedding has resurfaced.
Brandon Clarke recently passed away. His death was confirmed by his agency on May 12, 2026. Amid that, fans are digging up his Instagram photos. Amid that, one snap is from Brandon’s elder sister’s wedding. The late basketball player shared a series of snaps from his sister’s wedding. If reports are to be believed, Brandon’s sister is Taylor Triplett. Brandon captioned the post as:
"My big sis got married !!! Congrats to her and my new brother, David. Was an amazing time for everyone."

It is worth noting that not much information is available about Brandon Clarke’s family, especially his sister. Over the years, Brandon has rarely spoken about his struggles and family; however, do you know that his mother, Whitney Triplett once fought very hard for the success of his basketball journey? Well, according to Andscape, Brandon was once asked to enroll in a school and pay the fees, but his mother interrupted and requested the coach to see his game once. As per a report by Mensjournal, Brandon’s mother was quoted as saying, "Coach, I know you’ve never seen my son play. When you do, you’re going to fall in love with him. I promise you that."

Brandon Clarke tragically passed away on May 11, 2026; however, this death was confirmed by his agency, Priority Sports on the next day. They penned a long and heartbreaking note, in which they revealed that they are devastated by Brandon's unexpected demise. It is worth noting that the exact cause of his death has not been revealed. Their note can be read as:
"We are beyond devastated by the passing of Brandon Clarke. He was so loved by all of us here, and everyone whose life he touched. He was the gentlest soul who was the first to be there for all of his friends and family. Our hearts are so broken as we think about his mom, Whitney, his entire family and all of his friends. From high school to San Jose State to Gonzaga to the Grizzlies, Brandon impacted everyone who was part of his life."

Brandon Clarke was one of the most talked-about NBA players. Reportedly, after being selected during the 2019 Draft, he had played all seven seasons of his NBA career with the Memphis Grizzlies. In 2020, Brandon made the All-Rookie First Team and soon impressed everyone with his strong game. However, his career took a pause when he got injuried.
