Ever since filmmaker, Boney Kapoor had opened an Instagram account, he has left Gen Z behind in the race. The producer has become a pro at handling social media and has been sharing some unseen pictures with his friends and family members. With his IG posts, Boney takes us back to the good old days and makes us feel nostalgic. And, once again, he took a trip down the memory lane and shared a throwback picture with his daughter, Janhvi Kapoor.
On December 19, 2021, Boney Kapoor had taken to his Instagram handle to drop two pictures with his late wife, Sridevi. The pictures were from the year 1998 when they had taken a trip to Alaska. The pictures had featured the couple sharing a candid moment as both of them had donned a black coat. Along with the pictures, Boney Kapoor had written:
A few moments back, Boney Kapoor took to his IG handle and shared an unseen throwback picture with his elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor. In the priceless photo, we can see the father-daughter duo dressed in their traditional attires as the camera captured their candid moment. Sharing the picture, Boney wrote:
"Janu has always been very observant."
In the photo, Janhvi was dressed in a purple-hued lehenga choli and looked cute as a button. She accessorised her look with a maang teeka, golden jhumkis and some bangles. The actress was lost in her own world and was observing something keenly. On the other hand, her daddy dearest was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama. However, as soon as Boney Kapoor uploaded the throwback picture, his darling daughter took to the comment section and wrote:
"Miss u papa."
Boney Kapoor never misses an opportunity to heap praises and blessings on his children. After Janhvi' Kapoor's last release, Roohi, Boney Kapoor had opened up about how proud he feels about his daughter. While expressing his wish to portray Janhvi's on-screen father, the producer had said:
"Janhvi is working so hard. She wants to get better with every film. Her mother would have been proud of her. However, rather than see someone else play Janhvi's father I'd like to do the needful."
With the pandemic lockdown, Janhvi too had got the time to spend with her father, Boney Kapoor and sister, Khushi Kapoor as otherwise, she is always on the go. The lockdown had made her realise that people of the family depend on her a lot more since her mom, Sridevi’s demise. In an interview with the Filmfare, Janhvi Kapoor had opened up on becoming the lady of the house post her mother, Sridevi’s demise and had remarked:
“I don’t think I have become the lady of the house because I'm very childish. But during this lockdown, I'm understanding how much people at home depend on me a lot more. Because I haven't been home this much for the past 2 years. Now all of sudden I'm keeping track of what Papa is eating, or why Khushi is sleeping so long, and how they are going to get vegetables and if they are sanitizing everything properly or what the protocols are. I was thinking If I wasn't here I don't know what would have been happening. I think they would have managed. I think the responsibility has just dawned on me that they do depend on me a bit.”
On the professional front, Janhvi will be next seen in the film, Good Lucky Jerry.
