Popular film producer, Boney Kapoor revealed that he and his wife, Sridevi never thought that their daughter, Khushi Kapoor will join the film industry.

Legendary actress, Sridevi and film producer, Boney Kapoor's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor is one of the most popular star kids in Tinseltown. Even before her Bollywood debut, the gorgeousness enjoys a huge fan following on social media platforms. Moreover, Khushi is a fashionista, just like her elder sister, Janhvi, and she often exudes her glam style statement. Currently, she is making headlines for her much-awaited acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies. And now, her doting daddy, Boney opened up about her acting career.

In an interview with ETimes, Boney Kapoor opened up about his daughter, Khushi Kapoor's Bollywood debut. Talking about the same, the producer revealed that he and his late wife, Sridevi never thought that Khushi will choose acting as her career. He also mentioned that when his wife passed away, their daughter was just 16-years-old, so they both were not aware of Khushi's desires. Stating how they only wanted Khushi to do well in her studies, Boney said:

"At the time when Sridevi passed away Khushi was just 16 years old. At that time she and I did not expect anything from Khushi. Although, Khushi might have had these desires and an ambition to become an actress from back then, but humne nahi socha tha ki yeh actor banegi. As parents we were just busy making sure she studies well and finishes her schooling."

When Boney confirmed his daughter, Khushi's Bollywood debut

Earlier, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Boney had opened up about his younger daughter, Khushi's acting debut in Bollywood. Elaborating more about it, the producer revealed that Khushi is really keen on acting and he even confirmed her Bollywood debut. Boney also mentioned that he isn't going to launch Khushi through his own production house. Stating that she will be launched just like her sister, Janhvi Kapoor and step-brother, Arjun Kapoor by some other big production house, the doting father had said:

"Yes, Khushi is also keen on acting. You will hear an announcement soon."

When Khushi dropped priceless glimpses with her father

Being an avid social media user, Khushi often drops priceless glimpses with her family members on her IG handles. For instance, on November 11, 2021, she shared two cutesy pictures with her father, Boney Kapoor. In the pictures, the father-daughter duo could be seen twinning in purple-hued ensembles. Khushi looked beautiful in a shirt which she styled with hoops, a bracelet, watches, and a sling bag. On the other hand, her father donned a matching shirt. Along with the picture, Khushi penned:

"Always the favourite."

Khushi Kapoor's acting debut

Khushi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies. It is an Indian adaptation of the popular comic, The Archies. Set in the 1960s, the film is based on the friendships, romance, and heartbreaks among a bunch of teenagers in the same school. Apart from Khushi, the film is all set to introduce Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, Agastya Nanda, to the Hindi film industry.
