These are strange times for everyone around the world. We are witnessing a global pandemic, whose cure hasn't been found yet. The coronavirus has left everyone suspicious of others. Behind the masked faces, smiles are lost and on top of it, the flashing news of COVID-19 is scaring everyone. In the midst of it, the fear doubles up when someone in your house is tested positive for coronavirus. And an exactly similar fear is going through in the Kapoor house as Boney Kapoor's house-help is tested positive. Boney Kapoor's house help, Charan Sahu, who is 23-years-old, was keeping unwell and was later tested positive. In an interaction with ETimes, Boney shared that that none of the family members including his daughters Janhvi, Khushi and other staff are showing any symptoms. He even revealed that they haven’t left home since the lockdown has been imposed in the country and are strictly following the guidelines and taking all the precautionary measures.
On May 19, 2020, Janhvi took to her Instagram handle and shared a message from her father, Boney. The director shared the official details of the same. His note can be read as "Message from Boney Kapoor -- I would like to inform you that our house staff...has tested positive for Covid-19. He was unwell on Saturday evening, was sent for tests and kept in isolation. My children, our other staff at home and I, are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven't left our home since the lockdown started. All of us will be in self-quarantine for the next 14 days. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by the BMC as well as their medical team. We are thankful to the Government of Maharashtra and the BMC for their swift response. I am sharing this information because it is important not to feed rumours and panic. A couple of weeks ago, Janhvi had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a couple of pictures and videos amidst the nationwide lockdown. In the series of pictures and videos, we could see her finding ways to irritate her little sister, Khushi. Alongside it, she had written a short note that could be read as "How to annoy your sister 101 #quarantineedition."
After a week of quarantine, Janhvi had penned a long note of all the things, she had learnt during the quarantine. However, it was a revelation about her mother, Sridevi that had touched millions of hearts. In her long note, Janhvi had written that she can still smell her mother, Sridevi's presence in her dressing room. She had also shared that she now knows that her father misses her and that Khushi Kapoor is definitely the cooler sister.
