It was April 2016, when the pictures of Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu Singh Grover’s fairy tale wedding flooded on the internet and it was a mix of their crazy fun and aww-worthy moments. With each passing day, this ‘monkey couple’ has won everyone’s hearts with their cuteness and love.
Bong beauty Bipasha fell in love with Karan while shooting for their first film together, Alone. Since Bipasha is a Bengali, on April 15, 2018, they celebrated Pahela Baishakh or Bangla Nababarsha which in simple words is Bengali New Year. So, on this lovely occasion, the lovebirds went for a family dine out and they were accompanied by Bipasha’s parents and her little sister, Vijayeta Basu. While Bipasha looked euphoric in a red top and blue jeans, her hubby kept it casual in a black shirt and black pants. Bipasha Basu Singh Grover shared the pictures from the #famjam, and captioned it, “New year feast with family #famjam.”
With the social media accounts of Karan and Bipasha, all their fans are updated with the pictures of their vacations and trips that they take to spend time with each other. But this much-in-love couple makes sure that they also spend some quality time with each other's parents as well. On April 2, 2018, bahu Bipasha shared pictures with Karan's parents while they were on their trip to Delhi. She captioned the pictures as, "Loved and overfed by Mom and Dad in Delhi. Thank you. Earlier in an interview, Karan recalled an incident when he witnessed an argument between the two Bong beauties, his wife Bipasha and his mother-in-law. Karan expressed, “One day, I saw Bipasha and her mom fighting and it was like this tandaav happening! Her dad and I kept looking at each other. His sarcasm and humour is something else.” Further acknowledging his father-in-law’s sarcasm and humour, Karan stated, “He told me, ‘Hamara dono biwi na… fire hai! Tum usske saath thoda thanda rehna. Tum water sign na, aag ke upar paani daal dena. No problem.’”
In an interview, Bipasha and Karan got candid about their relationship and revealed who is more possessive amongst them. Bipasha retorted, "I have my moments, but Karan is more possessive between the two of us. He keeps telling me, ‘She’s mine. All mine.’ and he wants me to keep saying it. ‘You are all mine? Only mine’. And I have to say ‘Yes, I am yours. Forever’." But KSG said, "She is more protective than possessive. Till a few days before our marriage, she couldn’t say the word ‘husband’. Bipasha Basu also answered how her life has changed post-marriage and remarked, “Life has definitely changed for good post marriage as I have got an amazing partner. I couldn't have asked for a better person than him, it's like twin soul as we are very very similar. I have always been the person who is always guided by happiness. My main objective in life is to achieve happiness wherever I go so thankfully I have it with my marriage.”
Bipasha Basu is not seen on-screen after her film, Alone and her fans are eagerly waiting to see her on the big screen. About the sabbatical she took after her wedding, Biaspha told a leading daily, ''I got married in 2016, and I took a really long, but, a well-deserved break. I have been working since I was 15, and I never really took any long break. I used to think that I am never going to be married (laughs), so when I did [get married], I was really happy, and I decided to take a break." As per the reports, Bipasha and Karan will be seen on a Colors TV show, Entertainment Ki Raat —The Extension. Talking about it, a source was quoted as saying to the leading daily, "The show is an extension of Entertainment Ki Raat and the makers are yet to zero in on the title. It will be launched in April. Bipasha and Karan will be sharing screen space on TV after two years. (They had appeared on Kapil Sharma’s show after their marriage) On Entertainment Ki Raat, there is a segment ‘Role reversal’, in which Bipasha will be seen as Karan and vice versa. In another segment, ‘Drop the mic’ the two actors will be pitted against each other as singers."
