Bipasha Basu’s wedding was what every girl dreams of having. She was beaming with happiness and looked so adorable throughout her wedding functions. Bipasha made a lovely Bong bride with her carefully chosen outfits. We were totally bowled over by her beauty and gorgeous wedding outfits and hence, we have for you a low-down on her wedding trousseau.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover went for a black and white theme for their pre-wedding photoshoot. But, we are not at all complaining. The album was just incredibly sweet. For this photoshoot, Bipasha picked a pristine white strapless gown, pearl headband and beautifully curled hair. Her outfit was designed by Rocky S, who is also her best friend. Bipasha was an absolute vision in the flowy white gown.
The simplicity and the flowy silhouette of the outfit.
Everything about Bipasha Basu’s outfit was perfect for a pre-wedding photoshoot. It was simple yet spoke volumes. The flowy silhouette of the outfit was a good prop to add some drama to the whole photo shoot. So ladies, the time when you go for a pre-wedding shoot, choose your outfit carefully and use it as a prop to add more drama to your album.
Bipasha’s bachelorette party thrown by her close friends and cousins was a fun-filled affair. For the intimate party, Bipasha chose to go the casual way in cut-off denim shorts and a simple black tee. She accessorised herself with just an arm full of golden bangles and bold pink lips.
The awesome fun that the girl gang had and the casual look sported by the beautiful actress.
From her pics, it seemed that Bipasha changed her tees more than once. She was seen wearing two different tops; one black tee and a red spaghetti strap top in her bridal shower pics. So girls, take inspiration from Bips and go for a complete laid-back look on your bridal shower. With casual clothes, you would not have to constantly worry about your outfit.
On the day of her mehendi, Bipasha looked like a fairy princess straight out of Barbie movies. Dressed in a soft pink-coloured floral Anushree Reddy lehenga, Bipasha looked breathtakingly beautiful. She accessorised herself with a mix of floral jewellery for her hands and hair, and precious jewellery from Jaipur Jewels.
Everything about Bipasha on her mehendi night was perfect. From her hair styled in waves, pretty haath-phool, the pink clutch, to her makeup; everything was awe-worthy.
Her makeup! Bipasha went for very light makeup for her mehendi night. A pretty pink coloured lipstick, pink nails, a lightweight pink blush and delicate eye makeup brought together the whole princess look. The hue of pink used in Bipasha’s makeup is a perfect inspiration for girls blessed with a dusky complexion.
For the wedding day, Bipasha picked a traditional red and gold bridal ensemble by Sabyasachi. Her heavy lehenga, as well as the blouse, was beautifully embellished with gold zari work. The beautiful Bengali bride accessorised herself with heavy kundan jewellery from Jaipur Jewels.
Bipasha Basu dressed as a typical Bengali bride with the white mukut, red and white bindis above her eyebrows, the big red bindi and huge nath stole our heart. We are so impressed with the perfection that the bride displayed. And, let's not forget the groom, Karan. He complimented Bipasha’s traditional red and gold attire in a pristine white kurta pyjama.
This one is especially for the grooms who have absolutely no idea about the colour of their bride’s dress. When your bride plays the guessing game, opt for a white or an off-white coloured traditional attire for the wedding day. This way, you can avoid any colour blunders.
The reception party was right after the wedding, and the beautiful Bong bride changed into a head-to-toe gold look. Her outfit for the reception that consisted of a stunning off-white lehenga and a long embellished top was once again a Sabyasachi creation. She completed her look with heavy neck jewellery, a cute gold clutch and oodles of happiness on her face.
The colour of the outfit, the silhouette and the bindaas attitude of the bride.
For the reception, the bride has to meet a lot of people, so it would be a great idea to add a belt to your dupatta to keep it in place. And also when your outfit is heavy with a lot of embellishments, avoid going overboard with jewellery and makeup. Keep it simple with just one statement piece and light makeup like Bipasha did for her grand reception.
We totally loved what Bipasha wore on all her wedding functions. Each outfit was different, gorgeous and fashionable! You can take a lot of inspiration from all these pretty outfits. Also, do share which look you loved the most in the comments section below.
