Bigg Boss 17’s recent round-up of events have been garnering a lot of spotlight off lately. However, the most talked about moment among it all was the fight that erupted between Abhishek Kumar and Samarth Jurel. Well, in an earlier episode, Samarth, along with Isha Malviya, could be seen poking fun over Abhishek’s mental health issues, for which he received treatment in a rehab. However, the mean comments triggered the latter, who ended up slapping Samarth. Although Abhishek got evicted, Samarth, too, got bashed by the host, Salman Khan.
The recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 17 featured the host, Salman Khan rebuking Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel for poking fun on Abhishek Kumar, on as sensitive a matter like mental health. In a teaser clip that has been shared on the official social media page of the streaming platform, Salman can be seen telling Samarth that if Abhishek was wrong in slapping him, the former too was equally responsible for the same. Moreover, he asked Isha about her reaction if Samarth would’ve mocked her over her mental health. In his words:
“Obviously Abhishek is wrong. 100 per cent he is wrong. But isn’t the one, who made him do it is not wrong? Tissue paper muh peh thopna, baap ka mental beta… you all were seeing this. Nobody tried to stop Samarth? Did anyone say Samarth what are you doing man? Did anyone hold Samarth – pagal hogaya hai kya? Mat Kar ye! Isha, if you were Abhishek and Samarth would do this to you, what would you have done?”

In her response to Salman’s question, Isha Malviya replied that she would’ve hit Samarth if she was in Abhishek’s place. On the other hand, Salman then asked Samarth if he knew about Abhishek’s reaction to such behaviour, and that whether it was all a planned thing. He further probed him if Abhishek’s eviction was the ultimate goal that he wanted by poking fun at him. In his response, Samarth then tried to offer an explanation about his action and could be heard as saying:
“I knew these are his trigger points. I knew he is not that strong mentally.”

After the unexpected turn of events wherein Abhishek Kumar slapped Samarth Jurel on national television, the current captain of BB house, Ankita Lokhande ordered for the eviction of the former from the show. While such move by the actress received a lot of flak by the fans of the show as well as from former contestants, it was Abhishek’s father who issued a video, expressing his disgust on Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel poking fun on his son’s mental health issue. He even admitted his son’s gesture of slapping not being correct and requested the host, Salman Khan to forgive his son.

In a previous startling episode of Bigg Boss 17, Isha Malviya dug up her ex-beau, Abhishek Kumar’s past of suffering from mental disorders and going to a rehab, post his breakup with the actress. Nevertheless, Isha rudely commented on Abhishek and called him ‘mental bhopu’. An infuriated Abhishek then retorted:
“Tere pyaar mein he mental tha main. Tune mujhe mental kar ke chhod diya."
But things scaled up when Isha’s current BF joined in the fight and started making mean comments on Abhishek. Losing his calm, the latter slapped the former on national television, leaving every other contestant shocked about his move.
