Avneet Kaur has been one of the most successful young actresses, who has carved a name for herself in the film industry. She rose to fame with her stint in the popular serial, Alladin-Naam To Suna Hoga. Thereafter, she took her leap of faith from the television screens and made her debut in the Rani Mukerji starrer, Mardaani in 2014, and ever since there has been no looking back for the actress. Currently, she is busy promoting her upcoming film, Tiku Weds Sheru opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and which is produced by Kangana Ranaut.
During the promotions of her upcoming film, Tiku Weds Sheru, Avneet Kaur, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, opened up on the toughest phase of her career back when she had merely stepped into the glamour world. Having started her career at quite a young age of 7 years, she mentioned that she had taken the biggest risk in her life when she shifted to Mumbai. In her words:
“I believe the biggest risk for me was shifting to Mumbai because I had no idea that my entire family would actually shift here. My dad even relocated his entire business and everything for me. So, it was the biggest risk for all of us, not knowing what the future held. I was 7 years old when I moved.”

Going further in the interview, Avneet also opened up on facing another hurdle of her personality. She revealed that she had difficulty in speaking fluent English, since up till that time, she had been educated in Punjab and thus her knowledge of English was weak. Nevertheless, she picked up on her pace of learning English and gradually was confident in speaking the same. She mentioned:
“I didn’t know English well when I shifted to Mumbai. But gradually, I learned English and also picked up a bit of Marathi in school. Before shifting, I was a little weak in English. Since I’m from Punjab, I don’t think I was fluent in English from there, and my confidence was also a bit low.”
In her personal life, Avneet has often been speculated to be in a relationship with her Alladin-Naam To Suna Hoga co-star, Sidharth Nigam. While there has not been any official confirmation on the same, such rumours get fuelled whenever the duo drop pictures and videos with one another on their social media. Moreover, Avneet and Sidharth are also often spotted spending time together in real life, which has only made their fans wonder what has been brewing between them. However, in one of her earlier interviews with Zoom, Avneet had once addressed all such rumours and mentioned that she was very much single and was not dating anyone.

Whether dating or not, Avneet Kaur and Sidharth Nigam make for a wonderful pair on-screen, and the duo’s chemistry makes their fans swoon over them in no time. As their fans lovingly call them with the acronym, Sidneet, they never fail to wish that the duo might end up together in real life. However, Avneet once spoke about this demand of their fans and mentioned that she feels happy whenever people think she is dating Sidharth Nigam. She highlighted how as actors, their job is fulfilled when the audience starts to ship them in real life.
