Imran Khan stole many hearts when he made his Bollywood debut in the movie, Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. It was his chocolate boy image which got him all the female fan following. He became an overnight sensation with his debut film and before his fans could go a little more awestruck, they got the news of the lady in his life. The Kidnap actor was in a steady relationship and was dating his teenage crush, Avantika Malik. The duo had taken their relationship to the next level and had tied the knot with each other on January 10, 2011. The couple was blessed with a baby girl, Imara Malik Khan on June 09, 2014. In May 2019, the duo, who was also called as the power couple of B-town, had decided to temporarily part ways due to reasons best known to them. Since then, there have been speculations about troubles in their marriage.
The reason for their alleged separation is still a mystery and neither of the two has spoken anything about it. But Avantika, who is pretty active on social media keeps on posting something or other giving hints about her estranged marital life. On November 14, 2019, Avantika took to her Instagram stories and shared yet another quote by Daisaku Ikeda from Nichiren Buddhism which could be read as “Ideal love is fostered only between two sincere, mature and independent people. Sometime back, a source close to Imran and Avantika had revealed details about their separation. According to a Pinkvilla report, the source had revealed, "Imran has not faced much luck as an actor. After Katti Batti failed, offers started drying up and soon enough, he was left with no work. It's been four years that the actor is at home, doing absolutely nothing. He wanted to turn a director but that also has not taken shape the way he envisioned. He just did a small short with Dharma 2.0 and that's it."
In an interview with Men’s Health magazine, Imran Khan had shared that Avantika Malik makes him really angry! Yes, he had shared, “It makes me angrier than any other human being. We fight a lot, but that’s how relationships are meant to be. They’re never perfect but you still stay put if they nourish you in some way, and if you are getting something valuable from them.” He had further added, “Different people have different ways to make a relationship work. Find out what works for you and your partner.”
Imran has worked with many actresses and had never been under any controversy involving him. His separation came as a shocker to many who still couldn’t believe what went wrong. On the other hand, Avantika had been posting different quotes from time to time. She recently joined a bartending school and her Instagram handle is full of pictures and videos where Avantika had been showing off her bartending skills.
