In the interview, Ashlee's emotional mom shared that they have not gotten any clear answer about what actually happened to the influencer. She revealed that her daughter FaceTimed her after she was engaged to Joe McCann. It was after only a few days that Joe McCann called them to inform them that Ashlee was no more.

In another interview with CBS, Ashlee's mom and dad were asked if they think Joe McCann had something to do with the mysterious death of the influencer; her mom said that the investigation is going on. Joe has been contacted, but he wasn't available as reported.
