After that, Joe allegedly found that she had hanged herself. Authorities suggest that she used a piece of cloth from her dress to hang herself in a wardrobe. "Nothing about this loss feels real... The suddenness, the unanswered questions, and the distance from home have made this tragedy even more overwhelming… there is an active investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ashlee's suspicious passing... we are placing our trust in the officials...we seek clarity and answers."
