The legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar's death came as a shocker to her millions of fans across the nation. The 92-year-old singer was admitted to the Breach Candy hospital in January 2022, as a COVID-19 patient. However, she had recovered from the COVID-19, but she was put on the ventilator after her health had deteriorated.
Lata Mangeshkar will be cremated with full state honour at Mumbai's Shivaji Park. Many renowned celebrities had gathered there to bid their last goodbye to the legend. Songs sung by her are playing at the Shivaji Park. Her cremation is scheduled at 6:30 in the evening.

Pictures and videos from Lata Mangeshkar's home have been going viral on the internet. Millions of her fans had gathered outside to see the last glimpse of the queen of melody. Her sister, Asha Bhosle was also seen with her hands folded in respect of her sister as she was draped in tricolour. Check it out below:
Lata Mangeshkar was born in Indore and has been the voice for many screen legends. She had started her singing journey at the age of thirteen in 1942. She had sung over 30,000 songs in her seven-decade long career. She was also a receipt holder of several awards including, Padma Bhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke and many more.
