Bollywood actor, Arjun Rampal and his wife, Mehr Jesia got divorced in May 2018 after 20 years of togetherness. The two had gotten married in 1998, and have two children- Mahikaa Rampal and Myra Rampal. But, after a few months of divorce, it seems that Arjun Rampal has found love again. Yes, you read that correctly. Arjun Rampal was recently spotted holidaying in Cognac, France with his alleged girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades. Gabriella is a South African model, actress and was selected as one of the contenders for FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World last year. She was also a Miss IPL Bollywood and represented Deccan Chargers team in the IPL.
Though, neither Arjun nor Gabriella has shared a couple-picture of themselves, but it’s evident from their social media handles that the two were holidaying at the same place. Take a look at the following snaps and check out the same background:
In fact, recently as well, Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades were spotted on a dinner date in Mumbai. It seems that post their holiday in Europe, the two came directly to Mumbai. Take a look:
Earlier, there were reports that Arjun has found love in a model-actress and Serbian dancer, Natasa Stankovic. In fact, a DNA report had quoted a source as saying, “Arjun and Natasa got acquainted while working on Daddy and they have apparently kept in touch with each other”.
In May 2018, Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia had released a joint statement announcing their divorce. The statement could be read as, “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. It further stated, “We have always been solid when it has come to us, we will continue to be solid for each other and our loved ones, as we embark upon a new journey...Both of us being extremely private people feel strange to be making this statement, but such are the circumstances of our lives. Where the truth can get distorted and lost. We are a family, our love for each other is forever intact and we shall always be there for one another and most importantly, for our children Mahikaa and Myra. We would, therefore, appreciate our privacy through this time. Thank all for their support. Relationships can end, but love lives on. We won’t be commenting on this any further”.
For the uninitiated ones, it must be mentioned here that it was widely reported that Arjun’s growing closeness with Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan, made Mehr insecure and that was the reason behind their divorce. A source close to the couple had revealed to a media portal, “When his equations with many industry friends were worsening, his friendship with Sussanne only strengthened over time and Mehr grew extremely insecure. It led to several fights between the couple.” The source had further added, “Mehr and Sussanne yelled at one another before Mehr stormed out of the party. The two have not spoken to each other since”.
In a throwback interview with Simi Garewal, Mehr had opened up about her insecurity, owing to Arjun’s popularity and was quoted as saying, “If you are getting attention then I think if the person really loves you then they join in with you in getting that (attention). They enjoy it for you. If they don’t then I guess you both are anyway on different wavelengths. You cannot compete in a relationship. In my relationship, I try to make my partner feel as secure as I can because I know insecurity is a really harsh thing and it can not only mess up your heart but your mind as well”.
