The year 2020 started off with the gloom of Coronavirus. The entire country is shut down due to the rapid increase of the pandemic. While many people are spending quality time with their family, there are some, who are stuck far from their homes. But the situation is such that everyone is coping with the situation for the betterment of their loved ones and for the country too. Bollywood’s handsome hunk, Arjun Rampal is a doting dad to his kids, Maahika, Myra and Arik Rampal. It was in April 2019, when Arjun had surprised all his fans by sharing a monochrome picture of his pregnant girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades on his social media handle. On July 18, 2019, Arjun and Gabriella had become proud parents of a baby boy. The lovely couple had named their cotton ball, Arik Rampal and often shares glimpses of their family pictures. Due to the lockdown, Arjun is stuck at Karjat with Gabriella and Arik and the actor revealed why is he not travelling to his home in Mumbai.
In an interview with Mid Day, Arjun stated that he and Gabriella are at his second home in Karjat with son, Arik and have decided to stay back due to the pandemic. While Mumbai is not very far from Karjat, the couple decided not to travel for the safety of Arik. Talking about the same, he stated, “We decided to stay back for my son’s safety. While he is too young now, this will be a story to tell him when he grows older. Besides, Mumbai is just a few hours away, and hence, easily accessible in case of an emergency.”
Arjun and Gabriella are making most of their family time in Karjat within his spacious house with a big backyard, large swimming pool and amidst nature. The actor also said that he is in constant touch with his daughters, Myra and Mahikaa over the phone. With zero cases of Coronavirus registered in Karjat, Arjun is happy that he took the decision of staying back and retorted, “Since there are no cases here, we are secure. The doting couple, who rarely gets time with their little munchkin due to their hectic schedule is cherishing every moment of the lockdown. On April 13, 2020, Gabriella had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable family picture with Arjun and Arik. In the picture, Arik was seen playing with his mommy’s hair. Gabriella had captioned the picture as “A family portrait.”
On February 5, 2020, Arjun had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a video where the father-son duo was seen having some ‘us’ time while twinning with each other. In the video, Arjun was seen feeding his pet dogs and Arik was enjoying in the company of his dad while playing with his toys. Along with the video, Arjun had written, “Chillin with my boys....”
In an interview with Zoom, Arjun Rampal had opened up about his newborn baby, Arik. He had stated, "He's the cutest baby I have ever seen. Not taking away from my daughters but he is really really cute, and my daughters are in love with him. Whoever sees him falls in love with him. So, he is actually stealing too much of my spotlight. I'm a bit jealous of him. I would like to share a pic of him when he is one year old. Because he is very small right now and I am too private. Right now he looks more like his mom (Gabriella)."
