B-town has been giving major sibling goals and have proved to be exemplars of maintaining relationships. With modern family scenarios in most of the clans in B-town, we can’t help but adore how they have stood by each other in the times of need. Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor became ideal siblings and children when they stood by their father, Boney Kapoor and half-siblings, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor in the toughest time of their lives. On February 24, 2018, Sridevi Kapoor’s unfortunate and sudden demise made Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor stand by their family like pillars of strength and since then, they have been there for each other even when the rain starts to pour. Because of the rift between Boney Kapoor’s two families, if you thought you’ll never get to see his children bonding during their childhood, then you’re wrong! And just a while back, Arjun just gave glimpses of their childhood fun with his half-sister, Janhvi.
Arjun Kapoor loves taking a trip down the memory lane and digging out hidden gems every now and then, and October 12, 2019, is no different! Sharing a childhood picture with Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun gave a glimpse of his ‘childhood swag’. Along with it, he wrote, “My Childhood Swag was always high!!! @kobebryant 4 life @nbaindia!!! Also the sister s weren’t too shabby either... @rheakapoor @anshulakapoor @janhvikapoor #flashback #baller4life #swagkapoor #issavibe.” And Janhvi is all hearts for the throwback picture! Anshula reposted the picture and captioned it, “That missing tooth though #KapoorJunior #WhereThemEyesAt.” Arjun shared another picture on his Insta story wherein he could be seen looking away from the camera but his sisters, Rhea, Anshula and Janhvi are happily posing for the picture.
Sometime back, on the unseen Koffee Konfessions episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar had given not only us but Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor also, a memory to cherish for a lifetime. Karan had shown Arjun and Janhvi an unseen throwback photo from their childhood wherein little Janhvi could be seen sitting on bhaiya, Arjun’s lap. All thanks to the Dhadak promotions, the world got to know a lot about Janhvi Kapoor and her bond with the entire Kapoor family, especially half-siblings Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. In an interview, Janhvi had spoken about what Arjun and Anshula mean to her and Khushi. Therein, she had remarked, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Arjun Kapoor had talked about the equation he now shares with his half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Stating that all he wants is his sisters to be happy, Arjun had said, “It’s something that has been growing and still evolving. I’ve been very honest about it. I’ve not made any pretence saying that we’re a happy family and we’ve sorted everything. So, I don’t care what people think; I just want them [my sisters] to be okay.”
In 2017, Arjun Kapoor had termed his relationship with Sridevi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor as ‘non-existent’, “We don’t really meet and spend time together so it doesn’t really exist.” About its transformation from 'non-existent' to 'perfect', Arjun had told DNA, “So much happened that we didn’t have the time to figure things out. Having experienced something as harsh as that, I wouldn’t wish it for my worst enemy. I know what it feels like to be in a situation where you’re grasping for life.”
Arjun Kapoor had continued, “I was in Punjab when I got the news. I called my maasi and sister immediately. I had to do what I felt was right. That’s what mom would expect of me, to be there for my father and family. If I can be a good brother and a good son, then why not? Mujhe toh kuchh achha hi mil raha hai, I’m getting two more sisters and helping my father feel a little relaxed.
