A couple of days ago, when Malaika was asked about her alleged marriage, she had said, “Oh god, oh god, let's not even have these...this is all media made (blushes). The media is responsible for all of this. All media made. That's all I am gonna say about this. All media made.”
Recently, Arjun opened up about the wedding reports in interaction with IANS. He said, “When there is something to talk about, you will all know.” He further added, “It’s your choice how much you put out there or yourself and your availability. Today you have a lot of control over as to how much you want people to know about your life. Speculation and gossip is a part of it. I am not the first actor or the last. For those who don’t know, Arjun and Malaika’s wedding news started making rounds, when an India Today report had stated that Malaika and Arjun are all set to tie the knot in less than two months. A source also had revealed that the couple will be having a Christian wedding in April this year.
Malaika, who is a gorgeous mom to a 15-year-old-son, Arhaan Khan, talked about her divorce in an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan for her radio show, What Women Want. The reality show, India's Got Talent judge opened up about the odds of her decision. The show started with the kind of advice she received during the process, to which she had said, “I think sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, 'Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.' That's the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. She further went on to talk about the night before she got divorced and had stated, “Even the night before I got divorced, I had my family sit with me and ask me yet again, 'Are you sure? Are you 100 per cent of your decision?' So I think that was something I heard all along and rightly so. These are the people who worry and care so they will definitely say that.”
For those who don’t know, Malaika and Arjun’s dating rumour started making the rounds when a picture of them sitting together as a couple from Lakme Fashion Week 2018, went viral on the internet. The media mills were sure that they will soon make it official but it never happened. From holding hands on the sets to taking a mini birthday trip, the two kept playing hide and seek with the media and fans. And, while we all know the truth, looks like we have to wait a little more before the cat gets out of the bag and the couple makes an official announcement.
