The K-drama, My Demon, starring the Hallyu stalwarts, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung in lead roles, has become a favourite amongst the audience ever since its first episode aired in November 2023. The ongoing show has been garnering quite some attention due to the sizzling chemistry between the lead couple, Song Kang as ‘Jeong Gu Won’ and Kim Yoo Jung as ‘Do Do Hee’.

Viewers have noticed that the actors have a flirtatious camaraderie even when they are not being filmed, which has led to rumours about them dating. Recently, pictures have gone viral which seems to prove that Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung have developed a romantic relationship.

A post on the social media platform, TikTok has gone viral, which claimed that the My Demon co-stars, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung are dating. The user who shared the pictures on TikTok alleged that the South Korean media outlet, Dispatch had uploaded the photos confirming that the two celebrities, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung, are really dating. Netizens were excited and congratulated the couple in the comment section, with many hoping the rumours were true.
However, the question remains if the photos are real or not. The South Korean media outlet, Koreaboo clarified the whole story behind the photos. The reports mentioned that the photos in the viral video were indeed Dispatch's photos and were real, but not of My Demon co-stars, Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung. The first photo from the slide was actually of the now-ex-couple, Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki, who dated for a while before getting hitched in 2017, and called it quits in 2019. Meanwhile, the second photo was of the ex-couple, Lee Hye Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol, who parted ways in 2023 after six years of dating. Even the respective agencies of Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung have not confirmed or denied these rumours yet.

The lead actress of My Demon, Kim Yoo Jung has been intertwined in several dating rumours since she stepped into the world of glitz and glam. Previously it was speculated that the actress dated iKON's Ju-Ne, aka Koo Jun Hoe, and actor, Cha Sun Woo (formerly of the K-pop boy band, B1A4). Despite the rumours, she has never confirmed any public relationship and seems to be currently single.
On the other hand, My Demon’s lead actor, Song Kang was rumoured to be dating his Nevertheless co-star, Han So Hee. The speculations went rife after their on-screen chemistry in the same K-drama. However, a co-star later clarified that the two stars were just friends. Like Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang has not confirmed any public relationships.
Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung won the Best Couple award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards and Entertainment Awards for their show, My Demon. Although Song Kang was absent from the event, Kim Yoo Jung received the trophy on his behalf. Their ongoing K-drama has gained a substantial number of viewers and earned the second spot in the non-English category on the international OTT platform, Netflix, where it is being streamed.
