However, it looks like the Roar singer and the former Prime Minister of Canada are planning to take things forward, by moving in together. For the unversed,  their dating rumours began in mid-2025 when they were spotted spending time in Montreal.

Amid that, recently a source close to them spoke to Us Weekly, during which they revealed that Justin is showing off his new home to his ladylove, where he wants her to spend a part of her time, suggesting at moving in together. The source was quoted as saying:

"Justin is showing Katy his new home, where he wants her to live part of the year with him."

Months ago, in February 2026, a report by Montreal Gazette claimed that Justin Trudeau bought a home in Outremont for nearly USD 4.26 million. Reportedly, it is a two-storey house spread over 5000 square feet. It is located in a "prestigious neighborhood where he used to live." It is worth mentioning that not much is available about the same.

Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry are in a long-distance relationship

An insider close to Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau, in a conversation with Us Weekly, shared that the much-loved couple is currently dealing with a long-distance relationship but whenever they get free time, they make sure to travel and spend quality time with each other. The source also stated that Katy Perry also likes spending time with her ex, Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. The source explained:

"Katy and Justin are still navigating a long-distance relationship but it hasn't been an issue. They’ve found a rhythm that works and make a point to see each other as often as possible. The priority for both of them is stability for the kids. Katy and Justin have had to be flexible to make the relationship work. They travel whenever they can to spend time together. The long-distance dynamic was never a surprise to them."
