Legendary musician, Abdul Rahman, better known as AR Rahman, has etched a special place in everyone's hearts with soulful melodies in millions of songs. He is the only Indian, who had won two Academy Awards in 2009 for his incredible work in the films, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours. The multi-talented artist needs no introduction as he is one of the greatest names who would always be treasured in this country's history by everyone for his humble and grounded nature.
For those who don't know, AR Rahman is married to his ladylove, Saira Banu, and together they have three children, Khatija, Rahima and Ameen. All of his kids share a warm bond with their singer-cum-musician father. On his birthday, his son, AR Armeen, had taken to his IG handle and had shared a beautiful picture with his dad. Along with the picture, he had written:
"Happy Birthday to the worlds best Dad #iloveyou3000."

A few hours ago, AR Rahman took to his Twitter handle and shared a selfie with his son, AR Ameen, from the duo's latest public appearance. The picture was from the 64th Grammy Awards 2022 hosted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The legendary musician was seen sitting in the audience along with his son, and their happiness was visible on their faces. AR Rahman was seen wearing a golden print blazer over his black shirt, and his son was seen donning a casual printed shirt.
Rahman also shared another picture clicked at the event with Ameen. The picture was clicked by someone while the father and son posed in front of the Grammy Awards backdrop and looked overwhelmed. Along with the picture, Rahman wrote:
"Parenting."

For the unversed, Ameen has also followed his father's footsteps and is a to-be-music composer, and his father never misses a chance to shower love on his son. In March 2021, AR Rahman had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a picture of his son, AR Ameen. The picture was from Ameen's childhood, where he was seen sitting inside a studio in front of a microphone. Maybe the little kid was looking upwards while taking instructions.
Earlier, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Rahman had talked about the fact that all his three children are mature enough to choose what is right for them. He had said:
“As long as my children are doing what they believe in and if there is nothing wrong about it, they’ll always have our support. I’ve let them be. They aren’t new to whatever happens around them because of whoever I am. Initially they’d get a little intimidated but now they’re used to it. I make sure they travel the world and learn things from everywhere. They understand everyone has their own journey. They are mature about what they post [on social media], how they talk and about what I think. [In that sense] They make their own choices."
