Bigg Boss 17 ended on January 28, 2024, and Ankita Lokhande became the third runner-up of the show. The actress and her husband, Vicky Jain had a difficult time inside the BB house due to their frequent arguments and nasty fights. While Ankita once hit Vicky with a slipper, the latter allegedly charged at her in anger during their stint on the show. The duo faced many backlash for their equation on the show and got slammed.
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain were among the best television couples, and their social media posts spoke volumes about their love for one another. Hailed as an ideal couple, Ankita and Vicky hit a rough patch when they participated in Bigg Boss 17. The actress always felt that her businessman husband was emotionally unavailable for her and liked to interact with other female contestants on the show. All this made Ankita possessive while Vicky was tagged as a red flag.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ankita Lokhande talked about her difficult time on the show, Bigg Boss 17, with her husband, Vicky Jain. Talking about the same, she said that watching the show all over again is hard for her and mentioned that she is dealing with anxiety after leaving the show. Adding that her and Vicky's fights were shown exaggerated on TV, Ankita said:
“It still hurts. I am not recovering from it, and it’s not because of anybody else, it’s because of us. I saw some of my scenes, and I was just telling Vicky yesterday that you know we have fun, and we say things like, ‘I will hit you’ in jest. But on the TV, it looked so exaggerated. Now when I see it, it impacts me so much that I do not like it because we talk to each other as friends, so it feels okay. But it’s come with such force on TV that it’s traumatic, it’s not healthy to watch, it’s not nice to watch. Whatever we did, we did it ourselves, no one else was there, we were fighting there, but somewhere there’s a lot of love in that fight too.”
Earlier, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Ankita Lokhande talked about the backlash that she and Vicky Jain received and also slammed those who judged their relationship. Speaking along the same lines, the Pavitra Rishta actress admitted that she and Vicky are not perfect and urged everyone to let her and Vicky live their life the way they want. She added that every couple fights at their homes, but we do not see it. Mentioning that their fights started inside the Bigg Boss house and ended there, Ankita stated that people are commenting on their divorce and putting them down.

In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande was seen chatting with Mannara Chopra about the video of her journey on the show, Bigg Boss 17. The actress shared that she was unhappy with the same because her hubby, Vicky Jain, was portrayed in a negative light in the video. Ankita said that even Vicky would be affected by the same, but she doesn't want that to happen. She was heard saying:
“I did not see any happy moments in my video. There were a few with Vicky, but I am getting affected because they are my family. When things go wrong in friendship, it doesn’t matter much, but here, family is involved. Vicky jab yeh dekhega na usko affect karegi yeh cheez. Mera positive dikhna is a different thing, but he is my family. As a wife you want everyone to be happy.”
