The first glimpse of Rohit shouting for his ladylove from the top of the stage, and we all went Piya Tu Ab To Aa Jaa, Shola Sa Mann Deheke, Aa ke Bujha Jaa… with their quintessential cabaret! Just like the judge of the show, Raveena Tandon, we also couldn’t take our eyes of Rohit and he ‘was like an atom bomb that burst on stage’. It was just a week back when Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy had taken us on their preparation journey which was a mix of warm-up exercises, hard work and dance with a pinch of romance. While Rohit had captioned his video as, “You've got to be like a fan at your show, just wild out. We make eye contact. We get in the crowd and kick it with 'em, stage dive, mosh. We make 'em laugh. We go out there and turn up, have fun. There's no set list; We don't have rehearsals. Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy have proved to be a fine dancing couple on Nach Baliye 9 and we are eagerly looking forward to their journey on the show. But unfortunately, this week, Rohit and Anita won’t be able to perform because as per the reports, the former has been diagnosed with jaundice and is asked to take rest. In an interview with The Times Of India, Anita spoke about participating in Nach Baliye 9, her joy of professionally being with hubby, Rohit and their reason behind taking up the show.
When asked, “What made you say a yes to Nach Baliye?” Anita Hassanandani replied, “The fact that we will get to spend so much time together and that Naagin had just ended, it felt great to take up this opportunity. We will have so many amazing stories to share with our kids once we have them and that was one of the main reasons for us to be doing Nach Baliye.” Revealing who she thinks is a better dancer between them, Anita admitted, “I thought I was a better dancer but the way rehearsals are going, Rohit is killing it.” (Also Read: Balika Vadhu's Avinash Mukherjee Reveals The Truth About Reports Of His Marriage With Saloni Luthra)
Speaking of if she has taken any proper training in any dance form, Anita Hassanandani stated, “I haven’t learned dancing, and never taken any training. In fact, none of us have. Rohit is a complete non-dancer and I have not had any training of that nature.” Expressing how does it feel to work under a Salman Khan production/ banner, Anita continued, “I have always been and am a huge fan of Salman Khan. It's my pleasure to be working with Salman Khan production and I am so excited, so proud and so thankful.”
When asked, “Who was keener on doing Nach Baliye and how did the convincing part happen?” Anita Hassanandani retorted, “I was keener on doing Nach Baliye and I had to convince Rohit. It took quite a while. In fact, it has taken many years, as we had been offered a couple of seasons before as well but Rohit was never ready. I think things happen when they are meant to be and this year season 9 was when everything fell into place.” Speaking of whom does she think could be a tough competition to them, Anita added, “The show has just begun so it's too early to say but I do know one thing that we need to bring our A-game in because everybody is giving their 100% and we sure have to bring our A-game.”
In an interview with BollywoodLife sometime back, Anita Hassanandani had revealed her plans for extending her family with hubby, Rohit Reddy. Anita had expressed that she had been waiting to do the show for the longest time and after she’s done with it, she plans to have a baby. Anita had said, “Absolutely. That was the whole plan. Nach Baliye is a journey that you can't do after a child. It gets a little difficult. Or you have to wait for your baby to grow up. So (we decided) after Nach Baliye we plan to have a baby.” She further added, “I have been busy with two TV shows, and workwise, I wanted to be free when I have a child.
