Commenting on the rumours of them opting for surrogacy, the 37-year-old actress told a media house, “There is no truth in these rumours. We have thought about having a baby, and I plan to have a baby the natural and normal way. Hopefully, if things go as planned, we might have a baby next year.”
Anita also shared that she wants to have a baby when she is free from her professional commitments. She shared, “I have been busy with two TV shows, and workwise, I wanted to be free when I have a child. I don’t want a hectic work schedule when I get pregnant. Rumours of Anita Hassanandani's pregnancy started off way back in 2016, and suddenly the media and fans were aroused with the fact that Anita is pregnant with her first child. Refuting all such rumours, the Naagin actress gave it back through an Instagram post which could be read as, “So I’ve received a call from every publication from every channel today asking me ke “good news hai kya” … “Yessss the good news is that I’m not on a diet … I’m on pizzaaaaa chocolates ice creamssss winessss. Am glowing cos I’m in love with my husbandddddddd. And I promise to let you all know proudly when I am expecting! Cheers."
Rohit Reddy had once shared his and Anita’s love story and how it all started. He had told a media house, “I had seen her in the gym and fell for her stunning Indian looks. Then one day I saw her outside a pub, waiting for her car and decided to approach her. I went like a hero and approached her with the corniest lines she was startled. That was a brief encounter; I followed it up with a message on Facebook. I had no idea she is an actor, as all I ever watched on TV was news. My mom is a TV addict and knew all about her.”
Anita also revealed in another interview as to what was the moment when she realised that Rohit is ‘the one’ for her. She had told an online tabloid, “I used to love drinking in my younger days. This one night I went overboard and got into a fight with Rohit. It was all my mistake. Woke up the next day, apologised to him saying ‘I’m sorry Rohit I’ll give up drinking if you want’. He replied saying, ‘No you don’t have to give up on anything for me. Just try staying in control. You are a public figure, you have to be careful,’ – and that was the moment I knew he’s my man! Who loves me for ME; with all the flaws? He didn’t want me to change a thing for him. It’s been 6 years and the only change in me is that I’m a better, a more positive person. Not only that, I’m more successful than I used to be!”
Talking about the most important thing in a relationship, Anita had once said, “It has to be his honesty. I feel the strength of any relationship is to be true to each other. I also love that there’s mutual respect between us. It’s such a simple thing if you come to think about it but it goes a long way in strengthening the bond.
