Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash that was held over a span of three days in Jamnagar, Gujarat, became the talk of the town in no time. While the internet went berserk witnessing the massive arrangements made by the Ambani family, it was also the gorgeous fashion statements both the guests and hosts sported for the celebration that went viral. Additionally, we now came across a beautiful gesture made by the Ambanis towards all the guests, which was in the form of a unique pre-wedding favour.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we came across a beautiful glimpse of the unique pre-wedding favour arranged by the Ambani family for their guests, on the occasion of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities. Paying tribute to the newly established animal rehabilitation centre, Vantara, the gifts were custom-designed duffle bags adorned with gorgeous hand-painted animal motifs, including lion, tiger, leopard, elephant and deer. Created by the Bombay Artisan Co, these handcrafted bags were made of cruelty-free leather, in hues of white and beige, with bespoke gold buckle and chain detailing. It also featured adjustable trolley wheels for ease of movement.

Previously, a report claimed that Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding favours included some unique candles made by visually impaired artists from Mahabaleshwar. The crafters from Sunrise Candles worked hard to create custom candles, that paid an ode to the family’s love for culture and nature alike.
Apart from the majestic scale of arrangements made for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding soiree, it was the latter’s impeccable choice of outfits for each and every celebration that won hearts. For instance, on the second-day of the celebration, the to-be Ambani bahu, Radhika dolled up in a corset-inspired lehenga from the shelves of the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. The choli of the lehenga was crafted with reference to the vintage corset, and was made out of a metal mesh drape, each of whose folds was adorned with 20,000 Swarovski crystals. On the other hand, the intricate detailing on the pleats of her lehenga was the hard work of over seventy artisans.

In a recent interaction with Vogue, Radhika Merchant opened up about her love story with Anant Ambani for the first time-ever. She recalled crossing paths with Anant by mutual friends enroute a drive in 2017. While their first-meeting itself sparked feelings between them, they started dating one another soon enough. This was followed by Anant proposing to Radhika for marriage at Shrinath Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan in 2023. They then celebrated a surprise engagement bash at the Ambanis’ Mumbai residence, Antilia. Expressing her feelings for that special night of her life, Radhika remarked:
“It was, unquestionably, the best night of my life.”
