We are still star-struck with the Ambani’s grand wedding celebration for their daughter, Isha Ambani. And, while we are eagerly waiting for Isha Ambani’s twin brother, Akash Ambani and Shokla Mehta’s wedding, it is the younger brother who is making headlines with his rumoured girlfriend, Radhika Merchant. Although, the two may not have officially confirmed their relationship, the chemistry they share definitely has set the internet on fire. For those who don’t know, their relationship came into limelight during Isha Ambani’s wedding where the two shared some adorable moments away from all the media glares. Their chemistry caught eyes at almost all the functions. And now, we got hold of a new picture of the couple that is making rounds on the internet and the duo looked perfect together. We love the fact how Anant and Radhika never shied away from their relationship. The two again grabbed headlines at Isha and Anand’s sangeet when they performed together. Then at Akash and Shloka’s engagement bash, Shah Rukh Khan teased Anant about Radhika on the stage during the celebrations, which gave us our clue number two. Another picture went viral on the internet, of the young couple twinning in green robes, lost in each other’s eyes. The picture is a proof enough that Radhika is indeed Anant's ‘special someone’. However, neither Ambani nor the Merchant family has released an official statement confirming Anant’s relationship with Radhika, but the clues have made the scenario pretty clear. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Encore Healthcare. Radhika did her schooling from Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and École Mondiale World School before completing her IB Diploma from BD Somani International School. Radhika has her graduate degree from the New York University, in Politics and Economics. After coming back to India, she worked as a Sales Executive in 2017 at Isprava, a real estate firm that ‘creates dream holiday homes for those with the finest tastes’.
In an earlier interview, Radhika had shared the reason why she returned, she said, “To find a place where my work would matter, and I could make a real contribution to the organization I would join. I had never given much thought to the concept of luxury while growing up. However, after joining Isprava, my idea of luxury has evolved. Earlier I was put off by the mentality behind luxury because I equated it with a large logo on a handbag or a specific pattern on a piece of fabric but after joining Isprava and understanding the brand's idea of luxury I have learned to appreciate it. In another interview with Bombay Times, Anant’s mother, Nita Ambani had said, “Mukesh and I have given a very strong foundation to our kids and even larger wings to fly - they have the freedom to make decisions for themselves and of course, choose whom they would want to spend the rest of their lives with. Marrying the one you love is gratifying and heart-warming.”
