Well, for the ones who don’t know, Alia’s bestie, Devika Ranjan is all set to tie the knot with the love of her life, Varun Jain. All this while, the excited bridesmaid, Alia has been updating her social media handle with pictures, videos and Boomerangs from the pre-wedding celebrations. The Gully Boy actress left all of us go green with envy as she looked ethereal on Devika’s pre-wedding celebrations.
And now, the celebrations are at the peak since the haldi ceremony is going on and Alia is slaying in a simple pastel green-coloured suit. And guess what? Just like any other doting and loving sister-cum-bestie, Alia adorably puts haldi on the bride-to-be, Devika. She herself shared the picture and gave us a glimpse of it, captioning the snap as, “My beautiful bridey”. She has always been frank about having a crush on him, and now that the buzz about the relationship is hovering everywhere, we wonder when the two would tie the knot. Answering this question, Alia recently told an online portal, “I think people should now take a break. We have had two beautiful weddings last year. Also, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the Sanju star had shared, “I am in a happy, positive and beautiful phase of my life. But you can talk about your personal life only to a degree. Otherwise, it becomes the forerunner of your life and your work takes a back seat. There is always excited to know about someone’s personal life. But you want to give the relationship respect so that people don’t malign it in a gossipy way.
