Dipika and Shoaib said Qubool Hai in a nikah ceremony on February 22, 2018, in Maudaha, and since then they have been enjoying their marital phase. February 22, 2019, is a special day for Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and her 'joru ka ghulam', Shoaib Ibrahim as they achieve a milestone in their marriage and complete one year as husband and wife! The preparations for their first anniversary began on February 21, 2019, with Dipika, her mother-in-law, and sister-in-law getting their mehendi done. This was followed by the anniversary celebrations which took place as the clock struck 12 with a cake-cutting ceremony. Shoaib’s sister, Saba Ibrahim shared some glimpses of the celebrations, and among those our favourite is the video in which Shoaib dances with his joru, Dipika. While a couple takes their wedding vows during the saat pheres, Shoaib and Dipika did something unique after their marriage. Sharing a fun series of pictures on their respective Instagram handles, the lovebirds captioned them with the ‘unofficial wedding vows’ that they want to promise each other. The pictures comprise of Dipika and Shoaib doing the daily chores such as going for a bike ride together, brushing their teeth together, cleaning their house together, cooking together, Dipika giving tiffin to Shoaib while he goes for work, taking care of each other through thick and thin and through sickness and in health, and finally just being there for each other.
Captioning the pictures, Dipika and Shoaib wrote, “Some unofficial marriage vows!!! Smallest things are the most important. So here we promise each other we will do our duties and help each other in all the daily chores of every day!!! We will spread happiness in our lives and never let the friendship fade off. On March 22, 2018, when Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim completed their one month of marital bliss, the lovebirds got a lovely surprise from his family. Shoaib’s family brought a cake and decorated the living room with pink and white balloons. Dipika shared a glimpse of the celebrations and captioned it as, "My Family!!! The one-month completion called for this surprise cake cutting in Ammis house where I was absolutely clueless that this cute little surprise was cooking Small moments create greatest memories."
On June 20, 2018, Shoaib Ibrahim turned 32 and his doting wife, Dipika Kakar shared the loveliest wish for him and wrote, “You are a gem... a perfect son... a humble human being and a perfect husband....so happy to see this happiness on your face... on receiving your first award..and that too on your birthday!!!!! Even Shoaib left no stone unturned when Dipika celebrated her first birthday post marriage on August 06, 2018. Sharing a heartfelt message for her, Shoaib wrote, “Hmmm toh first birthday.. nikah ke baad .. and as u said to me.. mujhe special feel karwana..i dont know how to make you feel special .. jisme main sabse kamzor hu..just want to say ....You make me happy.. you make me laugh.. you are little crazy and sometimes akward... but your smile alone can make my day.
