The only thing the millions of fans of the Bollywood stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are waiting for is the duo's wedding. This is currently hitting the headlines every minute and has become one of the biggest talk of the town. Though the couple has been tight-lipped about their marriage plans, gossipmongers are making a huge number of speculations about their wedding. This time, we have come to know about the couple's reception destination.
Reportedly, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt would enter into marital bliss after tying the knot with each other on April 16, 2022, in a hush-hush wedding at RK house in Chembur. For the unversed, the duo's love story had begun on the sets of their first film together, Brahmastra, and the rest is history.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source close to the Bollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his and Alia's wedding reception. The source mentioned that following his wedding in the late night of April 15 or early morning of April 16, he would have a reception on April 17, 2022, at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The report had also retorted that the grand reception would start at 9 o'clock in the sea-facing hotel's ballroom. The source said:
"They have decided to host the reception at Taj Mahal Palace 'mostly' on April 17. Alia and Ranbir want to get back to work, but before that, they want to finish all their wedding festivities and so they have decided on this date."
The report has further revealed that the duo's reception would be a star-studded one as they would be inviting all of their friends from the industry. Few names that have come up includes Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra, Rani Mukerji and many others.

As per an earlier media report in Pinkvilla, the mathematical calculation behind Alia and Ranbir's wedding had come up. It had suggested that the duo would perform the wedding ritual between 2 AM to 4 AM, which according to the Hindi calendar timing is April 15, as a new day begins after sunrise. However, according to the English clock and timing, it is April 16. Now, upon adding the date (16)+ the month (4)+ the year (2022), it comes to 2042. And, again adding the numbers (2+0+4+2=8), we get 8, which is known as the groom-to-be, Ranbir Kapoor's lucky number.
And if media reports are to be believed, then the much-in-love couple would be having a Punjabi wedding, which would begin with shagun ki mehendi on April 13. They would also have a puja for late Rishi Kapoor's 2nd death anniversary on April 30 and a mata ki chowki following Ranbir's family tradition at RK House in Chembur.
