Bollywood singer, Mika Singh's hunt to find his life partner is finally over as he chose actress, Akanksha Puri as his would-be-wife on the show, Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti. Akanksha, who made a wildcard entry on the show, won the show and Mika's heart, leaving the other two finalists, Prantika Das and Neet Mahal shattered. Now, their fans are eagerly waiting to hear the wedding bells ringing in Tinseltown.
For the unversed, Akanksha has been Mika's friend for 12 years, and if reports are to be believed, then the two were allegedly dating each other earlier. When Akanksha had entered the show, the other contestants had criticised her for not realising her love when Mika was with her. However, Akanksha said that when she saw Mika with the other girls in the show, she couldn't stop herself and decided to enter as a wild-card contestant. During the show, she had always said that she will support Mika's decision even if he chooses someone else over her.

In an interview with the ETimes TV, Akanksha Puri talked about finding love again and expressed her happiness over finding a life partner in her friend, Mika Singh. The actress mentioned that she hasn't dated anyone for some time now and added that she can't wait to paint the town red with her groom-to-be, Mika Singh. Talking about the same, she said:
"It’s been quite long since I dated someone, I am so happy I have romance in my life now which I was majorly missing. I want to go all out this time. We definitely are a very powerful couple and we are all set to paint the town red with our love story."
Further in the interview, Akanksha talked about her journey from being Mika Singh's friend to now earning the title of 'Mika Di Vohti', the actress shared that Mika is her happy place and he makes her feel comfortable. In her words:
"My journey with him has been most comfortable till now. He gives me comfort in more than one way. He is my happy space and will always be."

When Akanksha was asked if she was ever skeptical about participating in a Swayamvar based show as she is already a successful name, she said that she was aware what was coming next. She also shared that she is proud of her decision of participating in the show, and added:
"I definitely was aware that I will have to face a lot of questions and allegations but this was about my personal life and the most important decision of my life. So, I didn’t take it like any other professional decision. I am proud of my decision."
Well, we are eagerly waiting to witness the grand wedding of Mika and Akanksha!
