Akanksha Chamola Fears Repercussion Of Divorce Secret With Gaurav, 'Mere Liye Vo Bahut Devastating'

Akanksha Chamola left many in shock with her first reality show, Lock Upp , as she revealed the most shocking secret of her life. On the premiere night, Akanksha, putting on a big, bright smile, revealed that she and Gaurav were indeed planning to part ways and that they had been living separately. 

Akanksha Chamola talked about revealing the divorce secret on the reality show 

'Getting divorced' seems easy to read but hard to reveal for anyone. No matter how peaceful a separation looks, it changes a person forever. And while people are busy judging Akanksha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna's divorce news. Amidst it, Akanksha broke down in the third episode as she shared that it was devastating to reveal the news in this way. 

Not only Akanksha, but Harshad also shared a shocking secret of his life. Talking on his part as well, the actress stated that getting 'saved' wasn't easy as they had shared a big secret. She stated that the contestant would find out which secret she had revealed when they would go out of the show. She shared that it was devastating for her and broke down while covering her face with her hands. She said:

"Humare liye safe hona easy nahi tha. Maine jo bohot bara secret reveal kiya hain na ma'am, woh life-changing secret hain. Aap sab ke liye bohot asaan hain bolna ki hum teeno ko aap save kar dete lekin usne (Harshad) jo secret reveal kiya hain… uska pata nahi but maine jo secret reveal kiya hain na… aap log jab bahaar jayenge tab pata chalega ki kya secret bola hain. Mere liye woh bohot devastating secret hain." 

Akanksha Sharma confessed she was getting divorced from Gaurav Khanna

On the premiere night of Lock Upp, Akanksha revealed that she was getting a divorce from Gaurav, and they have been living separately for the last one year. She stated that they have not made the news public, and that there was no bad blood between the two. They talk to each other, but they do not think they are compatible as partners, as they have different futures.

Netizens were left shocked, and they shared their opinion on Reddit. They reacted to Akanksha's revelation. One user pointed out how they faked that they were a perfect couple, "Really sad that they pretended to be a loved-up couple when BiggBoss was airing. And now it pisses me off all the more that he decided to bring the “children” topic up all on National Television for her to be judged, considering they already had been separated then? What was the point of making himself look like the greenest flag husband while opening doors for his ‘wife’ to be character-shamed?"

Another pointed out how they faked being in love, and Gaurav used the 'baby issue' to gain sympathy, "Ye to big boss mein bahut emotional ho rha tha, meri biwi ek baby nahi kar paa rahi, but I will still love her. A third one commented, "It was very obvious the way he started a narrative during Bigg Boss to make her look like a villain and himself a selfless loving husband. It was pre planned from his side so when the divorce news drops he gets sympathy and she gets hate.
