Recently, on the show, Lock Upp 2, Akanksha confessed that she and Gaurav have been staying separately for the past year. The announcement was a bit shocking to the couple’s fans as there were no signs of trouble in marital paradise. Amid this, Akanksha’s old remark about Gaurav Khanna’s money resurfaced.

Ever since Akanksha announced on Lock Upp 2 that she and her husband, Gaurav Khanna, are getting a divorce, social media users have been analysing every video of them through a different lens. Now, an old video showing Akanksha reportedly during a Dubai trip has resurfaced online. This trip also involved many people from Bigg Boss 19, and it was Pranit More’s brother, Prayag More, who asked Akanksha what she liked about Gaurav. In response, Akanksha playfully said:

"Gaurav ke pas bohot paisa, par woh deta nahi kisiko. Whenever you ask him for money, he says, Baby, I haven't got my salary, I haven't cleared my payment, I have a cheque, I have to pay tax, I have to pay advance tax."

Akanksha Chamola shared that she never wanted to have kids

During the second day of Family Week of Bigg Boss 19, Akanksha came to meet her husband, Gaurav Khanna. She looked very excited to meet her husband and hugged him tightly. However, it was her heartfelt confession about not wanting to have kids that stole the spotlight. During a conversation with Malti Chahar and Pranit More, Akanksha said that she didn’t feel the urge to have kids. In fact, in the future as well, it seems difficult for her to embrace motherhood:

"Future me bhi mujhe difficult lag raha hai. Mujhe nahi aa raha hai andar se, I don't feel the need to have a kid. Mere bohot saare reasons hain aur mujhe lagta hai jab aap itne saare reasons dhundte ho, then you are not ready. I am not scared of it. Baccha paida karna halwa banana nahi hota hai. Bohot badi responsibility hai."

When Gaurav Khanna opened up about his married life with Akanksha Chamola

During his stint on the show, BB 19, Gaurav opened up about his married life with actress, Akanksha Chamola. It is worth mentioning that the Anupamaa actor became the winner of the show, Bigg Boss 19. Mridul Tiwari, who was Gaurav’s co-contestant on the show, Bigg Boss 19, asked him about fatherhood.

In response, Gaurav said that he wants kids, but his wife, Akanksha, doesn’t. They have been married since November 2016. He mentioned that it was a love marriage and thus he needs to agree with his wife. Gaurav added that love comes with responsibilities, and he agrees with that. Explaining Akanksha’s different point of view, Gaurav said:

"No, my wife doesn't want. I want, but it's a love marriage. Whatever she says, manna padega. Pyaar kiya hai toh nibhaana toh padega. Her thinking is also valid. There are a lot of responsibilities. And it's only the two of us for each other. If I go to work the entire day and she also gets work, with whom will we keep the kids? We don't want anyone else to take care of them. I had told her that I wanted, but I understood when she explained."
