In a 2012 interview with NDTV, Aishwarya opened up about her weight gain and changed physical appearance she went through after her pregnancy. Slamming people for body shaming her, the actress said:
“It doesn’t matter. This is reality. This is who I am. I am a mother, and this can happen, and it happened with me, and it’s fine. That’s life. I have never been the one who endorses size zero anyway. You guys speculated I was pregnant way before I was so many times. So this goes to show that I have lived the real life in the public eye.”
