Aishwarya Rai is one of the most beautiful actresses in Tinseltown to date. However, she was often fat-shamed after she gained weight after giving birth to her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. There's no denying that every woman's body changes after pregnancy, but fat shaming them for their weight gain is hurtful and disrespectful. While Aishwarya gracefully promotes body positivity and flaunts her true self, she often gets bashed for one reason or another.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a diva, and anyone who meets her for the first time is left in awe of her. Something similar happened with comedian-actor, Kapil Sharma, as he met the actress on his show. Recently, we got hold of an old video of Aishwarya Rai, wherein she made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show along with late actor, Irrfan Khan. Kapil was so excited to see Aish for the first time and said:
"Maine bulk me itni beauty itni nazdik se dekhi nahi hai."

However, the statement didn't go down well with Aishwarya, who immediately lashed out at Kapil for indirectly fat-shaming her. Keeping her calm, the actress asked the host why he mentioned the word 'bulk' while describing her. She was heard saying:
"Ye bulk mai bolna jaruri that? Kya matlab bulk me?"
Kapil tried to get hold of the situation and defended himself by saying that he hadn't seen too much beauty in one go ever. He further clarified that he didn't try to offend Aishwarya. Reacting to the same, Aishwarya said:
"Haan fir theek hai. Okay."

Earlier, we stumbled upon a video of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wherein she was seen slamming the concept of size zero. In a 2012 interview with NDTV, Aishwarya opened up about her weight gain and changed physical appearance she went through after her pregnancy. Slamming people for body shaming her, the actress said:
“It doesn’t matter. This is reality. This is who I am. I am a mother, and this can happen, and it happened with me, and it’s fine. That’s life. I have never been the one who endorses size zero anyway. You guys speculated I was pregnant way before I was so many times. So this goes to show that I have lived the real life in the public eye.”
