Junior B, Abhishek Bachchan, his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their little daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, are no different to such situations. From Abhishek being trolled for living with his parents to Aaradhya being targeted for never attending school as she is constantly spotted at various occasions with Aishwarya, Bachchan clan is often subjected to such trolls. December 20, 2018, was a big day for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan as their little one performed at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School's annual day.
B-town celebrities namely Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan with their five-year-old son AbRam Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Abhishek Bachchan with their seven-year-old Aaradhya Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor with Samiera and Kiaan Raj, Sussanne Khan amongst others were snapped outside the school. Aishwarya, who was wearing an orange top and black tights with black booties, was seen walking hand-in-hand with Aaradhya, who was in her red performance costume. And, Abhishek was spotted in casual attire.
People mercilessly trolled Aishwarya for being an overprotective mother and always walking hand-in-hand with Aaradhya. Some of the comments could be read as, “Kabhi kabar Is k hath chor k isay khud b chalnay dia karo bichari bachi k hath hi ajeeb ho ker reh Gaye hen”, “So pampered gal , even Taimur use to roam freely without holding somebody’s hand”, “Woh bechari ladki apne aap chal nahin sakti lagta hai. Or her mom thinks like that and is always holding her hand ki gir na jaye ya kho na jaye ya bhaag na jaye”, amongst others. Here are the screenshots of the comments.

In September, Aishwarya came back to Mumbai with daughter, Aaradhya and mother, Brinda Rai, and was snapped walking hand-in-hand with her seven-year-old. Even then they were trolled for the same reason and some targeted Aishwarya for snatching away her little one’s confidence. Some of the ruthless comments could be read as, “The overprotective mother”, “Why she mothers Aradhya so much, she will@make her so crippled”, “@viralbhayani: I am sure even u want to tell this to aishwarya that she shud let her kid be! Nobody is going to eat her baby!”, “Taimur has more confidence than aradhya”, “Doesn’t she go to a school or something she is always spotted with her mum anywhere and everywhere”, “She seems to be an over protective mother and that’s not healthy in the long run”, “I dont think that she is a normal child at all...Taimur has such confidence in this age only and here is she behaving like”.
In an interview with SpotboyE, Aishwarya talked about Abhishek’s encounter with the trolls and said, “Abhishek does what he has to do or what he feels like doing… to each his own. There have been instances where he has been silent for years and made a choice to remain silent and then once a while he decides to engage and then he does. There is no telling if he will or if he won’t, it is a matter of at that time.”
Speaking about herself, she shared that she has no time for trolls, “It’s the approach, sense of self, self-confidence, self-esteem and finding strength in our capabilities that I find liberating. Be in tune with who you are because that keeps you positive.
