Bollywood actress, Aditi Rao Hydari looks no less than a Disney princess. However, in real life also, she is indeed a princess, as she is a descendant of two royal families. Her maternal grandfather, J Rameshwar Rao was the leader of the Wanaparthy state while her paternal grandfather was Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari. Aditi is a gorgeous and equally talented actress, and her home is a reflection of her personality. Situated in Versova, Aditi’s pad is every single girl’s dream home.
Aditi Rao Hydari, who was last seen in the Malayalam drama, Hey Sinamika, lives in a warm home in Mumbai. She has a lively living room and a cosy bedroom, and her house is a dream home for every bachelor. The actress gave a sneak-peek into her house in the latest episode of Asian Paints Where The Heart Is.
Aditi Rao Hydari's Mumbai home is a spacious area with minimalistic interiors, and it is reminiscent of her childhood dollhouse. Filled with playful elements, exquisite artworks, and subtle setups, her house is influenced by her family home in Hyderabad. Everything from the memoirs to the beautiful paintings on the wall to her quirky furniture pieces, make Aditi’s apartment 'home sweet home'. Her house features statement furniture items that stand out and add an edge to her home decor. It’s an inviting space and Aditi loves to have her friends and family over for lunch or dinner.
For Aditi, the biggest compliment is not about her acting or looks instead she values the compliments on her house the most. In the video, she shared that she loves when people experience positivity upon entering her house and compliment her about the same. Sharing that she loves to give people a welcoming vibe in her house, Aditi explained:
“I know I work in a profession which is a lot about compliments, the way that you look and the way you act. But, the biggest compliment for me is that when people enter this house and they are comfortable, they feel it is their home, and they love the energy of this home. I think that is the biggest compliment as you cannot fake that.”
The living area of Aditi’s house is vibrant and lively. Despite being an intimate space, it is welcoming and well-lit. The area is decked up with a beige-coloured sofa with some patterned cushions placed on it. Apart from it, two bright-coloured printed chairs are also placed in the living area. While showing around the area, Aditi shared that it is her favourite space as it has huge windows, which allow an ample amount of natural light to enter her house.
Aditi Rao is a great lover of art, and her house is the testament of the same. Aditi has a huge collection of exquisite paintings, which she has collected over the years. The living area of Rao’s house has pristine white walls with traditional artworks hanging on the walls, which adds liveliness to the room. From oil paintings to acrylic portraits and sketches to monochrome paintings, you name it and the actress owns it.
The windows in the living area are covered with white sheer blinds, which make the place look spacious and bright. Moreover, the low ceilings and minimal decor add cosiness to the overall space. The white walls and the vibrant pieces of furniture complement each other, and everything looks perfect in there.
Next to the living area is Aditi's dining area, which is slightly elevated from the living area, which makes it a bit more intimate. A minimalistic wooden table is kept in the area and polished chairs surrounded it. The area is minimalistic with large window panes and a painting hanging on one of the walls. Showing her dining area, the actor accepted that she loves feeding people and even forces people to eat with her. She said:
“I feed people all the time. I force-feed them even when they are not hungry. It is a very bad habit, but it’s a thing with me.”
The staircase in Aditi's house is every bit classy. With matte black stairs and chic wooden railing, the staircase will make everyone jaw-dropped. The stairs lead to Aditi's bedroom, which in itself is a sight to behold. The room is bright and has minimal decor. It features a queen-size bed, a chair and two wooden side tables. The dressing filled with a variety of cosmetics is the centre of attraction of her room. Moreover, the empty white walls and the pastel theme of the area makes the room warm and comfy.
Aditi Rao Hydari recalled that when she had first seen her Mumbai house, she was reminded of the dolls’ house her father had built for her. Getting inspired by it, she calls her Mumbai home her little doll house, which has a miniature element to it. The low ceilings and the cosy space make her house a replica of her childhood dollhouse. Aditi's house is well-organised, beautifully decorated, and exudes positive energy.
Indeed, Aditi Rao Hydari's house has a perfect mood board and can definitely be a part of all your home decor fantasies.
