Abhishek and Aishwarya flew off to an undisclosed location with daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan to ring in the New Year. Abhishek shared a picture with Aishwarya and their little munchkin, Aaradhya and captioned it “Happy New Year”. And just today, he shared another picture of gorgeous Aish and Aaradhya that will give you hashtag family goals. The actor captioned the picture as, “Mine”. Awww, take a look at them below:
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Abhishek admitted that Aaradhya understands what her parents and grandparents do but maintained that she doesn’t understand they are ‘famous’. He said, “Aaradhya is a very sweet kid but I don’t think she understands that bit. She knows we are actors, who appear in films and on TV. She also realises that her dadi ma goes to the Parliament. But I don’t think she understands the concept of, ‘oh, my parents and grandparents are really famous people’. We have tried to keep things as normal as possible for her. Her mother teaches her all of that. Earlier, Aishwarya talked about traveling with daughter Aaradhya in an interview with Conde Nast Traveller. She said, “Abhishek and I first took her to Goa together. And when she was only four months old. Travel has had this immense positive impact on her. You hear this all the time—and there are so many great travel quotes one reads—but then you actually see it take place in front of you. It’s lovely.” She further added, “Abhishek and I are happy everywhere but we’ve been doing a lot more beach destinations since we had Aaradhya.”
In an interview with SpotboyE, Aishwarya discussed that she doesn’t care how troll reacts to her travel pictures with Aaradhya. She stated, “I react (when cameras come too close). If my arm is around Aaradhya, people will say the mother is very clingy. I hear all this when it is already a couple of days later so it is kind of over. I don’t let it define me. I don’t change how I take care of Aaradhya or how I define myself based on all of this. Judge me for it but I will love her, embrace her. She is my daughter. Aishwarya also talked about the paparazzi culture and that she is not upset about getting clicked, she was quoted as, “If I see photographers are walking backward or tripping and falling on to other passengers, it can get chaotic. I will be protective to Aradhya as a mother and I will be empathetic to others who are being inconvenienced. I will not say I am all for paparazzi culture but I feel bad for the photographers. These are faces you have seen for years and they need the picture, it is their livelihood. I know they will do it. At that time, I don’t care for my expression or that I am being photographed. I will say what I have to, I will keep it real.”
