Abhishek Bachchan is one of the most talented actors of his generation. Despite being the son of eminent actor parents, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek has worked hard to carve his own niche and has not let himself be known by his parent’s mettle. Abhishek has done a commendable range of work, and his impressive filmography boasts versatility. Currently, the actor is busy promoting his upcoming film, Ghoomer and during the same, he has revealed something interesting concerning his parents.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Abhishek Bachchan along with his co-star, Saiyami Kher and filmmaker, R Balki opened up about how he has mastered an altogether different personality than that of his parents and legendary actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. However, during the same conversation, Abhishek added in and mentioned that, as compared to his father, he feels he resembles more like his mother. Moreover, he even proudly called himself a carbon copy of his mother, Jaya Bachchan. In his words:
“I think I’m more like my mother, instead of my father. My style and everything. I look like my mom only. I’m a carbon copy of my mom.”

In one of his other interviews with Instant Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan opened up about seeing his mother, Jaya Bachchan making her comeback into films with the latest release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Moreover, he also added that he wishes both his mother and his wife, Aishwarya end up doing more films. In his words:
“One thing I can say to the two ladies in my family is I hope and I pray that do more work because as viewers of cinema, both Aishwarya and mom have already contributed so much. They have so much more to give now. It’s such an exciting time.”
In one of his recent interviews with Zoom Digital, Abhishek Bachchan was asked to react on his mother, Jaya Bachchan frequently making it to the headlines due to her irritating disposition towards the paparazzi, whenever they click her. Busting the myth, Abhishek mentioned that he had not been aware of such videos firstly. Moreover, he mentioned that, unlike popular perceptions, his mother was nowhere strict in her real life.

Apart from being a phenomenal actor and a doting son, Abhishek is a loving husband to his wifey and actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Heaping praises on the latter, during one of his interviews with ETimes, Abhishek revealed his wife’s hidden talent to click great selfies, and added that she has the ability to make anyone look good in the pictures.
