On April 24, 2020, Aamna took to her Instagram handle to post a beautiful picture with her son, Arain Kapoor, with a heartfelt, meaningful message which can be read as "While we try to teach them what life is all about, In their own sweet ways they teach us what life should be all about !!" Kahiin Toh Hoga fame, Aamna Sharif had gotten married to producer, Amit Kapoor on December 27, 2013. After dating for almost a year, Aamna and Amit had gotten engaged in an intimate affair with friends and family only. After enjoying two years of marital bliss, Aamna and Amit had become proud parents of a baby boy whom they had named Arain on September 14, 2015. In an interview with SpotboyE, Aamna had spilt beans on her love story and marriage with Amit Kapoor. She had said, "We were friends for about three and a half years, he was one of my closest friends and we didn't really date each other, he just one fine day proposed to me and we decided okay fine we already knew each other for so long so we decided to just take the plunge and get married." On the question of how is she managing work and responsibilities of being a mother, she had emphasised on the fact that she has an amazing support system at home and had said, "I guess once you make up your mind, you have to come, you have to work and then everything just falls in place." When asked if/when she's planning for a second baby, she had cordially said, "Right now concentrating only on work."
