Aamir Khan is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor never shies away from mesmerising his fans with his jaw-dropping acting talents. Talking about Aamir's personal life, he got married twice. He tied the knot with his first wife, Reena Dutta. Together, they have two kids, Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. However, things didn't go well between Aamir and Reena, and they parted ways in 2022. Aamir got married to Kiran Rao in 2005, with whom he has a son named Azad. However, Aamir and Kiran called it off in July 2021.
For those who don't know, Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan is all set to make his debut as a producer in Bollywood with the film, Pritam Pyaare, wherein the former will make a cameo. There's no denying the fact that Junaid gearing up for his career in the industry definitely made Aamir super proud. But being an actor's son and starting a career in the industry have always sparked the never-ending debate about nepotism. However, an old video of Aamir Khan talking about nepotism recently made rounds on the discussion platform, Reddit, and netizens have reacted to the same.

In the video, we can see Aamir Khan talking about his thoughts on nepotism in a media interaction. The actor said that in his point of view, it is not nepotism but stupidity if the casting director hires someone unprofessional and lets go of the professional one. Talking more about the same, Aamir revealed that he has a real sister, Nikhat Khan, who is a television actress, but nobody knows about her being his sister, not even the casting directors, and it proves that she is self-made despite being from a renowned actor's family.
Going further in the video, we can see Aamir Khan said that his son, Junaid Khan too, despite being from a filmy background, worked hard to get a role. Elaborating more on the same, the actor shared that before getting his first job, Junaid was rejected 15 times. Aamir said his son didn't ask the former for work, and neither did he ever give his son any work.

The actor stated that his son used to go for auditions and couldn't bag a role until the last time he did. Aamir then said that being an actor, he could call the casting directors and ask them to give a role to his son, but he didn't do it. Aamir Khan then said that it is his personal belief that if someone knows work, nothing can stop them, and if they don't know anything, then they couldn't ever do anything despite being the son and daughter of famous actors.
As soon as the video went viral, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop their opinions. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, "Yashraj gave Junaid a chance to debut seeing his talent. Sure, I will believe that. And just googled Nikhat Khan - she is beautiful but a 61 yr old who started acting in 2019…..what point is Aamir trying to prove ??" Another user commented, "This would have made more sense for son of small actors." A third comment reads, "Nepo daddy Srk ke sath sath nepo daddy Aamir ka bhi gyaan suno. Save us!"
