Aamir Khan and his ex-wife, Reena Dutta's daughter, Ira Khan is in seventh heaven as she is all set to tie the knot with the love of her life, Nupur Shikhare, in January 2024. For those who don't know, Ira and Nupur exchanged rings in November 2022. A few days ago, Ira's papa also confirmed the former's wedding date, and now she has revealed some more details about her wedding.
In a recent interview with India Today, Ira Khan opened up about her wedding plans with the love of her life, Nupur. The diva said that she is not at all nervous and is really excited about her wedding, which will take place in January 2024. In the same interview, Ira was asked the reason behind choosing a winter wedding. To this, she said that she hates the heat, so the only criteria she holds about her wedding is that she wants it to happen in a cold place, with a cliff or a waterbody, i.e., a mountain and valley. Ira can be quoted as saying:
"I hate the heat, I cannot stand the heat. So my only criteria for the wedding was it has to be in a cold place and there has to be a cliff or a waterbody."

Going further in the interview, Ira Khan also shared that she and her fiance, Nupur will be having some small functions outside Mumbai as well. However, Ira also revealed the reason behind getting married on January 3. The star mentioned that the date is really special for her and Nupur as on the same day, they first met and went out on a date.
A few days ago, during an interview with News18, Aamir Khan confirmed her daughter, Ira Khan's wedding date with Nupur. The actor revealed that Ira would marry her boyfriend, Nupur Shikhare, on January 3, 2024. Aamir also heaped praise on his to-be son-in-law and revealed the latter's nickname is Popeye, as he has gotten arms like the cartoon character. Aamir also called Nupur a lovely boy. In the same interview, Aamir Khan revealed that as he was too emotional, on the day Ira would tie the knot, he would be super emotional and might cry too.
Earlier, a report by ETimes suggested that Ira and Nupur's wedding would take place in Udaipur and it would be a three-day ceremony. The source also revealed that the wedding ceremonies of Ira and Nupur would be a grand yet low-key affair and would be attended by Ira's friends and family members. As per the source, Aamir Khan is really excited about the same, and he has been closely involved with the planning.

The gorgeousness has been in a live-in relationship with the man of her dreams, Nupur, and got engaged in 2022. The two never miss an opportunity to paint the town red with their mushy romance.
