Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, is all set to get married to Nupur Shikhare in a traditional Marathi wedding at Taj Aravalli Resort, Udaipur, on January 10, 2024. For the unversed, the duo got legally married on January 3, 2024, in an intimate yet lavish registered wedding in Mumbai. As Ira and Nupur are enjoying their pre-wedding festivities with their close ones, we got hold of some priceless pictures from their mehendi ceremony.
A few moments back, Ira Khan's mehendi artist took to her IG handle and shared a fascinating post from the ceremony. In the pictures, Aamir Khan was seen sitting with Ira while the mehendi artist worked on his hand. The actor looked dapper in a sky blue-hued Indo-western outfit, as he happily got a meaningful design etched on his palm. Sharing the pictures, the artist revealed that Aamir adorned a mehendi design, featuring a star, moon, and sun, which was a replica of the tattoo on Ira's right hand. This special gesture beautifully reflects the close bond between the father and daughter.

On January 8, 2024, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare celebrated their mehendi ceremony. In several glimpses that made rounds on social media, we could see Ira looking pretty in a white ensemble. Nupur, on the other hand, donned a pink shirt with a chocolate-coloured short coat. Moreover, the main attraction of the duo's mehendi was that the guests wore henna on their hands, featuring the initials of the bride and groom's names with a heart sign in between.
On January 9, 2023, we got hold of an unseen video from Ira and Nupur's sangeet ceremony, which was too adorable to be missed. The clip showed Aamir Khan, his ex-wife, Kiran Rao, and their son, Azad, giving a special performance at the celebration. The trio was decked up in traditional attire as they sang beautiful songs for the to-be-married couple, ahead of their grand wedding. Indeed, this special gesture by Aamir for his darling princess simply melted our hearts!

A few months before Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding, Aamir Khan, in an interview with News18 shared that he would cry a lot the day when his daughter would get married. Talking more about the same, the actor stated that he is a very emotional person, and because of it, he is going to shed a lot of tears on that special day. Speaking along the same lines, Aamir added that his family members had already started discussing among themselves that one should be there to take care of him, as it would be hard to control him on that day.
