Speaking about Lainey Wilson's fiance, Devlin he was born in Alabama and got famous as a quarterback player. In a TikTok clip, Lainey had revealed that if stuff about both of them is put, then at least they should be made to look good. Earlier in an interview with PEOPLE, Lainey Wilson revealed that she ended her relationship with her high school love. This is because she wanted to take up her music career. However, she had admitted that her ex was the only thing she had known, as both of them had grown up together. Lainey remembered her ex had said:
"We grew up together. He was my best friend. We saw each other through a lot of different phases in our life. But I knew I would have to leave something behind, so I could try to do the damn thing in Nashville.”
In February 2025, Lainey and Devlin revealed they were engaged. The couple has not finalised their wedding date, but they are reportedly set to marry in 2026. Well, it was during a November 2025 appearance that Hodges revealed that she and Wilson had selected three weekends for their spring 2026 wedding. At one end, fans of the pair are waiting for the marriage, but both Lainey and Devlin are in no rush to walk down the aisle. She did admit that Devlin made her wait for four years and said:
"[Duck] is gonna kill me, but I told [him] I’m gonna make him wait. He made me wait for four years. I’m gonna make him wait before we start planning this thing. We hadn’t really covered any ground on it just yet, but we’re taking our time and it’s gonna be right and it’s gonna be beautiful and, you know, what it’s supposed to be about.”
